SET scores are accepted in the ten prestigious colleges of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Each institute releases its individual cutoffs and conducts the SET selection process. Can the SET application fee be refunded?

The SET application is not refunded under any circumstances. Once paid, the SET registration fee will be non refundable. In case a student is unable to appear for the SET exam, he/she will not be refunded the money spent as the SET application fee. Students should check the eligibility criteria, exam information and details before applying for the SET exam and paying the application fee.

Can I fill SET application fee first and pay application fee later?

Yes, one can fill the SET application form on one day and pay the fee on another day as it is not mandatory to register for SET exam and fill the application form or pay the fee in one go.

Who can apply for SET exam?

Candidates who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with at least 50 per cent aggregate are eligible to apply for SET exam. There is no age limit to appear for the exam. Candidates in the Class 12 or are awaiting the Class 12 results can also apply provisionally and present the marksheet at the time of admission. The candidate who has completed class 12 or equivalent from a foreign board and must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is eligible.

There is no provision of paying the SET registration fee by cash. There are only two ways of paying the application fee. i.e. online or through DD. Students can pay the application fee online through internet banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. Is there any provision for conducting the SET exam twice in a year?

SET exam is conducted in two sessions every year. The exam is conducted in CBT test mode for all pages. SET 2026 exam will be conducted on May 2 and May 10.

Can I fill out the SET application form offline?

SET Exam Application Form 2026: Important Points to Remember

Students must remember following points when filling SET application form 2026:

Submitting a complete SET exam application form is important to be eligible to take SET exam 2026. If it is half filled, the form will be rejected at screening level. Such students will not get the SET exam admit card.

Students will be redirected to Part I of SET exam application process, where they have to fill details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, gender, etc.

If any student plans to appear for only one session of the SET exam, they will have to submit a Demand Draft of INR 2250 and if they plan to appear for both sessions, then they will have to submit a DD of INR 4500.
