RRB JE CBT 2 Shift 2 Re-Exam Timing 2025
The Railway Recruitment Board released a short notification for the RRB JE 2024 exam. The RRB JE 2024 online applications started on July 30, 2024. The Boards provided a month to fill out the RRB JE applications 2024. Here are the important dates for the RRB JE 2024 recruitment:

First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) Date: Dec 16, 17 and 18, 2024

The candidates can download their RRB JE admit card in the following manner
Step 1. Visit the official link given for each RRB
Step 2. Click on the “e-call letter for RRB JE Exam” tab
Step 3. Log in with the required credentials in the login window
Step 4. Enter the registration number and date of birth to download the call letter
Step 5. Download and take a print of the call letter to reproduce at the RRB offices at the time of DV

RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Day Guidelines for Admit Card
- Candidates are advised to download their RRB JE CBT 2 admit cards and take a printout of the same. Candidates will have to show the printout of their admit cards at the allotted RRB JE exam centre along with the photo identity card.
- No hard copy of the admit card has been issued by the examination authority. In case of any discrepancy, candidates should immediately email the examination authority.
- The e-call letter, Color Passport Size Photograph and Valid original Photo ID Card are to be produced at the entry of Exam venue
- Aadhaar card is also to be carried to facilitate Aadhaar enabled biometric verification under the Aadhar Authentication for Good Governance Rules 2020. At least two original and valid photo ID card (i.e. not photocopied or scanned or expired) such as Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. Employee, School / College / University Photo ID card, SSLC/HSC mark sheet with photo must be presented failing which he/she will not be permitted in the exam.
- Candidates must note that photocopies of ID proofs will not be accepted, and the photo on the RRB JE 2024 CBT 2 admit card as well as the passport-sized photograph must match the candidate’s actual face.
RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Day Guidelines for Reporting Time
The reporting time for the RRB JE CBT 2 exam for session 2024 is 7:30 am. The exam will start at 9 am in the first shift, and in the second shift, the reporting time is 1 pm, and the exam will start at 2:30 pm. The gate closing time for the first shift is 8:30 am, and for the second shift, it is 2:00 pm. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination venue after the gate closes.
RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Day Guidelines for Exam Centre
The details regarding RRB JE CBT 2 exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are required for the exam at the centre allotted to them.
- Candidates are advised to visit their exam centres at least one day in advance to avoid the last-minute hassle.
- Candidates should reach the exam centre well in advance for verification of admit card, frisking, etc
- Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to appear at any other exam centre except the one mentioned on the admit card. If candidates appear at any other venue due to any reason, their candidature will be cancelled.
RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Day Guidelines 2025: Items banned within the exam premises
- Banned items/electronic gadgets such as Mobile phones, pager, watches, earphone, Bluetooth enabled devices, microphone, health bands, calculators, book, pen, paper, pencil, eraser, pouch, scale, writing pad, metallic wears, bangles, religious symbols, ornaments, mangal sutra, belts, bracelets, handbag, cap, purse, camera, water bottle, packaged/open food items etc. are not allowed inside the examination centre.
- Any infringement of this instruction shall entail summary rejection besides legal action including debarment from future examinations. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones etc. to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot be assured.
- Candidates are requested not to apply Henna on their hands/Feet as this obstructs the capture of Biometrics.
RRB JE CBT 2 Exam: Unauthorized activities prohibited during exam
- Carrying any banned or prohibited items into the examination hall
- Using mobile phones or electronic gadgets such as Bluetooth devices, MP3 players, palmtops, tablets, etc.
- Copying answers from chits, rough sheets, handkerchiefs, clothing, body parts, e-call letters, or any other unauthorised source
- Using books, notes, or any other study material during the exam
- Accessing the internet or running any unauthorised programs on the exam computer
- Communicating or chatting with other candidates during the exam
