Central University of Jammu Admissions through CUET

The CUET counselling process for admission at Central University of Jammu is conducted on its official website - cujammu.ac.in. The university offers admission to multiple undergraduate and integrated courses in different specializations based on CUET scores. To participate in the CU Jammu counselling, candidates must fill out the university's online form on or before the last date. 

Only candidates who will appear for CUET UG 2026, apply for CU Jammu and meet the university's cut off marks and eligibility criteria can participate in counselling. Once the CU Jammu registration window 2026 closes, the university will release the CU Jammu cut off marks. Yes, CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is compulsory for admissions to undergraduate programs in most Central Universities in India. Exceptions may exist for certain specialised programs or institutions, but for most central universities, CUET is now an essential requirement for UG admissions.

Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. For admission in Universities through CUET UG 2026, the policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates must check the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission.

As the CUET eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective course and check the subject mapping criteria and age criteria.

Central University of Jammu offers admissions after Class 12 based on CUET exam scores. National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2026 application form at cuet.nta.nic.in. The registration window has been closed. CUET UG application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of fees. Before applying, check the eligibility criteria for CUET UG exam.

Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?
A: 

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

The Central University of Jammu conducts the admission process for undergraduate courses through CUET. Candidates aspiring for admission have to fill out the online Counselling Registration Form. Candidates can find the admission form on the CU Jammu official SAMARTH website.

  1. Visit official Central University of Jammu Samarth Portal, cujammucuet.samarth.edu.in
  2. Click on New Registration and create your login credentials.
  3. Log in again by using the created credentials (CUET Application Number & Password)
  4. Click on Complete Profile and enter the registration details (Personal Details, Family Details, Category Details, Bank Details, and Address)
  5. Fill all the required details asked in the application form and upload the documents in prescribed size and format.
  6. Review the registration form and click on Submit.
  7. Pay the application fee to complete the registration process.

Central University of Jammu CUET UG Admissions 2026: Merit List

The CU Jammu CUET Cut Off 2026 for different undergraduate programmes will be released for multiple rounds on the official website. Only candidates who successfully fill and submit the admission form for Central University of Jammu will be considered during CUET merit list preparation by the university. The merit list is prepared by taking all applicants' CUET marks and university's reservation criteria into consideration. The merit position is considered while allotting seats in CU Jammu.

CUET 2026 Seat Allotment for Central University of Jammu

After releasing merit list PDF, the Central University of Jammu also prepares a seat allotment list. CUET applicants who applied for admission at CU Jammu can download the list from cujammu.ac.in. Along with this list, the university also releases an admission offer on its login dashboard. Candidates can access the login portal using their CUET application number and password to check their admission offer, followed by payment of the admission fee. Based on the admission offer, candidates need to pay the course fee.

No, CUET exam is not compulsory to take admission in different programmes at Lucknow Institute of Pharmacy. The college offers admission in the UG and PG courses based on merit in last qualifying exam. They just have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

If the students are done registering for the CUET UG exam, they should wait for the exam date to release. Then, appear for the entrance exam and register on the DU CSAS portal. Only then, students can apply for their preferred course and college. At the end, pay the fee and seal your admission.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 exam will be held in Computer Based Test mode only. It is an online mode of examination held across various exam cities in India and abroad. Candidates cannot appear for CUET UG exam in offline mode if the exam is being held in online mode only.

National Testing Agency does not release the official CUET UG mock test. This year, it is exected that NTA will release the CUET official mock test on its official website to help candidates become familiar with the exam pattern and mode of examination.

Based on CUET previous year question paper analysis, CUET Business Studies is the comparatively easy subject in CUET commerce subjects. The question paper includes questions based on theory and conceptual understanding. The CUET Business Studies questions does not include complex calculations.
