Central University of Jammu Admissions through CUET

The CUET counselling process for admission at Central University of Jammu is conducted on its official website - cujammu.ac.in. The university offers admission to multiple undergraduate and integrated courses in different specializations based on CUET scores. To participate in the CU Jammu counselling, candidates must fill out the university's online form on or before the last date. 

Only candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2026, apply for CU Jammu and meet the university's cut off marks and eligibility criteria can participate in counselling. Once the CU Jammu registration window 2026 closes, the university will release the CU Jammu cut off marks. For admission in Universities through CUET UG 2026, the policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates must check the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission.

As the CUET eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective course and check the subject mapping criteria and age criteria.

Q:   When can I apply for the CUET exam 2026?
A: 

National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2026 application form at cuet.nta.nic.in. The registration window has been closed. CUET UG application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of fees. Before applying, check the eligibility criteria for CUET UG exam.

The Central University of Jammu conducts the admission process for undergraduate courses through CUET. Candidates aspiring for admission have to fill out the online Counselling Registration Form. Candidates can find the admission form on the CU Jammu official SAMARTH website.

  1. Visit official Central University of Jammu Samarth Portal, cujammucuet.samarth.edu.in
  2. Click on New Registration and create your login credentials.
  3. Log in again by using the created credentials (CUET Application Number & Password)
  4. Click on Complete Profile and enter the registration details (Personal Details, Family Details, Category Details, Bank Details, and Address)
  5. Fill all the required details asked in the application form and upload the documents in prescribed size and format.
  6. Review the registration form and click on Submit.
  7. Pay the application fee to complete the registration process.

Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

Q:   When will the CUET UG counselling process commence?
A: 

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
  • Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.
Q:   What is CUET result date?
A: 

NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 tentatively in first week of July. CUET UG result 2026 will be announced at cuet.nta.nic.in online. Candidates who will appear for the exam can check their scores online. Students will be required to enter their login credentials to view the CUET scorecard 2026. NTA will mention the applicant's details and subject-wise score for CUET 2026. The scores will be sent to the universities for which candidates have applied soon after the declaration of results. Candidates must note that the role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET results 2026.

No, CUET-UG is not a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU BCom admission. Candidates who did not appear in CUET-UG can also appear in IPU CET which is conducted by GGSIPU itself. During counselling rounds, candidates can be evaluated based on this exam's score as well.
