Chandigarh University PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Chandigarh University offers PhD programme in full-time as well as part-time modes. Admission to the programme is based on the performance of a candidate in the CU PhD entrance test, followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates having qualified UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GPAT/ SLET scores are exempted from the entrance test. A few important highlights regarding PhD admissions are shown below:
PhD programme is offered in over 15 specialisations with a minimum and maximum duration of three and six years, respectively. A few of the PhD specialisations with the common eligibility criteria are mentioned in the table below.
