I am very satisfied with my college.
Placements: Students with 70% marks can get admission to my college easily. The highest package is 30 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and average package is nearly 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zomato, Swiggy, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and many more. It is a very good college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Libraries are provided with air-conditioned classes with many course books. Classrooms are very well managed. Hostels are clean and very well managed. Mess is hygienic and very tasty. I like my college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and help with every question we ask. Semester exams are quite tough. If you study on a regular basis, you can easily get marks. You can get 8 CGPA easily which is very good. Pass percentage is 50% which is very easy to get.
Other: I chose this course because I love this course.

Great vibes, supportive teachers, and loads to explore.
Placements: I'm pursuing a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science, which has been an enriching academic experience. Regarding placements, around 30%-40% of students from our college. The highest package offered around 6 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package stood at approximately 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include PRS Legislative Research, Oxfam India, Tech for India, Swaniti Initiative, and The Policy Times. About 50% of students received internship offers, either through college support or self-application. Internships are offered at places like Lok Sabha Internship. Top roles offered included policy research associate and political analyst intern.
Infrastructure: The Political Science department offers decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, a well-stocked library, and access to online journals. Classrooms are clean and spacious, but more smart classrooms and updated reading material would improve the learning experience. The hostel offers basic facilities with clean rooms and adequate security. Mess food is average but hygienic, while the canteen serves decent snacks. Medical aid is available on campus. Sports facilities exist but are limited in variety. Improvement in recreational areas and medical infrastructure would enhance the overall student experience.
Faculty: Teachers of B.A. Political Science (Hons) are highly qualified, experienced, and very supportive. Their teaching methods are interactive and easy to understand. They encourage discussions and critical thinking, making classes engaging and insightful. The B.A. in Political Science (Hons) curriculum is relevant and well-structured. It builds strong analytical and research skills, helping students prepare for careers in civil services, policy, and academia. The semester exams for B.A. Political Science (Hons) is moderately difficult, requiring consistent study. Most students pass with good preparation, and the overall pass percentage remains above 85%.
Other: I chose B.A. Political Science (Hons) due to my interest in politics and governance. The best part is engaging discussions, experienced faculty, and understanding real-world political systems deeply. The course is insightful, but I wish there were more practical exposure, internships, and an updated curriculum to match current political trends and career opportunities in policymaking and research. The campus hosts vibrant events and fests, with an energetic crowd and good connectivity. Surroundings are lively, scholarships are available, and extracurricular activities provide great exposure and overall development.

Review of Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College (Evening), University of Delhi.
Placements: All about 2000–3000 students are in my course. The lowest package is about 2-4 LPA, the average is 4-6 LPA, and the highest is 8-10 LPA. As from last year's data, companies like the teaching sector came to recruit as such renowned companies. Don't visit our college due to it being an off-campus college.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is not available on campus as it is available for only the staff and administration. There are computer labs and a library. As a hostel is not available in our college, there is a canteen, and the food is average and at a high price. They also have a sports field and a games room.
Faculty: Yes, the teacher's support also helps to crack the semester exam and placements. This course doesn't make the students as ready for the industry. The college exam is moderate, as the previous year question is always repeated, and it's quite easy scoring in my course.

College is great. It helps you grow not just professionally but in personal life as well.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students can get placed through campus placements. Every year 500 plus offers come through campus placements. The highest package is around 36 LPA, and it is given to 3 students this year. The lowest package is around 4 LPA. The average package is around 9 LPA. Very few students get on-campus internships, and you have to look for them yourself. Top roles are usually offered in the finance and consulting domains.
Infrastructure: Every room at SRCC has Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. The campus is small but has all the facilities. Infrastructure is much better compared to other DU colleges. Library is also great, students study there all the time. The sports complex is of an international level. College canteen is average, the food is edible but not very great.
Faculty: SRCC faculty members for economics department are top notch. The eco honors curriculum is more relevant for the industry as compared to other courses. Semester exams are of a decent level considering, they are the same for the entire university. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: SRCC has the best fest in all of DU. There are more than 50 college societies dedicated to different cases.

Delhi University College is one of the most satisfactory.
Placements: Only a few courses have good placements. For B.Com Honours and Koshish, like English honours, you will go on a soldier placement, but they don't have that many would packages. A lot of students acquired a package of more than 30 LPA. You can easily secure a package if you are good at studying.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty much acceptable, but it has a lot of dirty places. For example, sometimes the washrooms aren't clean at all, and sometimes what is available in the water taps and at the water dispenser, but that happens only a few times in one semester.
Faculty: One thing I like to appreciate about them is their faculty and curriculum. If you are looking for a good faculty college. It is one of the best colleges you can opt for, and the curriculum and exams of pretty easy to I don't find them difficult.
Other: I think they have the best campus life as everything is available nearby, the food counter is in coffee shops, and the surroundings are also very clean.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the surroundings of the college and the crowd of the college itse
Placements: This is my 1st year of college, completed my first semester, and on this basis, I can say that the strength or we can say the number of students in my own course, B.A. Hons Political Science is good, like 50, but attendance is very low. Recruitment chances are very low.
Infrastructure: A hostel facility is not present in my college, labs, and a library are there. The classrooms are in good condition. The canteen is there but has normal to below-average food items. The sports and game facilities are very good. In SLC, you can easily find opportunities for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us very well, of course, because it's Delhi University. This course is the most preferred course as you can join politics, and make a future in UPSC because Political Science is very necessary for UPSC and it may provide you with a great base. The passing percentage is 40, and it is easy to moderate to pass the exams because cheating is not allowed.
Other: I chose this course for my UPSC prep, and this course will definitely help me achieve my goals because it will make my foundation stronger. Some of us need private jobs, but in this course, there is a lack of companies that recruit B.A. Hons Political Science students. Events and fests are there, campus crowd is average, not so much for girls especially, but yes, you can consider it. The surroundings are very bad, and people in the surroundings may steal your phones and all. Extracurricular activities are there, theatre, dance, debate, and many other societies are there.

Q: Β  Does DU conduct entrance exam for BA (hons) in political science?
    A:

DU does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to BA or BA (Hons) courses. However, it accepts the scores obtained by the students in the CUET UG exam for UG admission at any affiliated college. Having said that, students can get admission to Delhi University even if they didn't apply for CUET. While the chances of getting admission will be much lower, here are some of the ways a student can get admission to Delhi University without CUET:

    1. Take a chance on the spot admission: You can try your luck at the spot admission process, which is conducted by Delhi University after the CUET results are announced. However, the number of seats available under the spot admission process is very limited, so your chances of getting admission are slim.
    2. Apply for admission through the Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL): The Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that do not require CUET scores. However, the admission process for SOL is more competitive than the regular admission process.
Q: Β  If I have to apply for BA (Hons) in Economics in DU. What is the procedure to pursue the same?
    A:

The application process of Delhi University affiliated colleges for its BA and BA (Hons) courses start with the registration process of CUET. The first step is to register for the CUET by visiting the official website of the exam. Find a step-by-step guide to fill out the CUET 2023 application form in the following section:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET and click on the "New Registration" tab. (https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/)

Step 2: Fill in all the required details such as personal and contact details and generate a password to complete the registration process.

Step 3: After completing the registration, move ahead to fill out the CUET application form by entering all the details in the given slots then click on “Save & Proceed”.

Step 4: Upload all the scanned documents including photograph and signature.

Step 5: Select any three courses and universities and after previewing the application form, click on “Submit & Make Payment” to proceed.

Step 6: Complete the application process by paying an application amount through online mode.

Those who qualify the exam are required to register on the DU CSAS portal (admission.uod.ac.in) for the final admission and college preference filling process. Based on the score in CUET UG, students receive admission calls in various rounds.

Q: Β  Is there entrance exam for BA (honours) in DU?
    A:

At the undergraduate level, the University of Delhi offers BA (Hons) across 29 specialisations out of which 23 offered merit-based admission and the remaining offered entrance-based (DUET) admission to the students till 2021. Additionally, the University also offers BA Prog. course across multiple subject combinations (across different colleges) in which admission is completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12. However, starting 2022, DU admission to all the UG courses will get conducted via CUET UG.
