M.Sc is a PG program, The entrance exam you need to clear for admission in DU is CUET PG. This is one of the most important exam which is also known as Central Universities Entrance Test for Post Graduation. M.Sc is a two-year program, The average tuition fees is between 25000 to 1.5 lakhs. It includes 4-semester exams. The eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc is a minimum Bachelor's degree in Science (Mandatory).
DU MSc Application Process 2024
DU application process 2023 for MSc starts with the registration process of CUET-PG. The first step is to register for CUET-PG 2023 by visiting official website of exam. After registration, students must fill in the application form and pay registration fee which is as follows:

The total tuition fee for MSc courses offered by the University of Delhi-affiliated colleges range between INR 432 and INR 2.3 Lacs depending on the college and MSc course a student is seeking or taking admission to. In 2025, the closing NEET rank for MBBS course of Maulana Azad Medical College was 103 for General All India category. The rank was 151 in 2024 and 87 in 2023. Looking at the rank, it is difficult for candidates to get admission with a rank of 620 in NEET.

Appear in the national entrance exam — CUET‑PG | As of recent years, DU PG admissions (including MCA) follow CUET‑PG. |
| 2. Register / fill DU's PG admission form | After CUET‑PG results, apply using DU's PG admission portal; you'll need to choose MCA in application. |
| 3. Shortlisting — based on CUET‑PG score & eligibility | Admissions are based on merit: your CUET‑PG score + matching eligibility (math background + bachelor's degree + minimum marks). |
| 4. Seat allotment / counselling / admission list | DU publishes seat-allotment / merit-lists; if you get selected, you must accept the seat as per instructions. |
| 5. Document verification & fee payment | You will need to submit original degree / mark‑sheets / math‑subject proof etc., and pay fees to confirm admission. |
