Habibi, come to Jamia Millia Islamia!

Placements: My course is a BA in Hindi. In this program, students are getting placed with media channels like NDTV, ABP, etc. The average package for mass media in Hindi for 2023 is ₹25,000, and students secured up to 90% internships. The Hindi department also offers an option for students to take mass media in Hindi for better placements and skill development. The Hindi department has one of the best groups of teachers in all of India.

Infrastructure: Jamia's Hindi department is very good. The teachers are cooperative and have extensive knowledge. We have our own classrooms, library, and full Wi-Fi facility across the entire Jamia campus. The Jamia hostel is excellent, with very good food, medical facilities, and sports facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive, always available for us. Extracurricular activities are also organized by our faculty, including sports events, antakshari, poetry competitions, and shayari, which help relieve pressure. Semester exams are not too tough, but scoring marks can be challenging. The passing percentage is, I believe, above 55, which is equivalent to a SGPA above 6.

Other: Choosing a BA in Hindi was my decision, and Jamia was my first preference. The best aspect of my course is my interest in it. I think everything is fine in my course. The Jamia fest is very entertaining, and the campus is great, though scholarships are not available for every student.

Jamia Millia Islamia is a dream university for most of the students.

Placements: The university has a good placement cell. All the eligible students can go for interviews. There are many jobs opportunities for student's future. Students can even get jobs abroad. Many companies come to the college to offer better opportunities for students. The hire students for their companies, this is such a great opportunity for student's career. All the departments organised this placement cell for their students except humanities and language faculty as there is less scope for job security in these courses, but in engineering and MSW, mass communication department which gives students best opportunities for their future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is superb. All classrooms are big. There are good stairs for students. Classrooms have A/Cs and fans. The design of classrooms and department is good. Big classrooms are helpful to accommodate more students and teach. There are many departments, and all the departments have their own working areas. All the departments have their own offices. There is a big library called the central library, and also there are departmental libraries, it helps the students to study more and more and gain knowledge. Students can study here for free.

Faculty: The faculty are very helpful. They always stands for their students. The always support students to succeed. The teachers always help students to find new ways and new projects for their future. Departments organise seminars for their students. The university also celebrates Talimi Mella every year, it is a foundation day of Jamia. The university organises a 3-days mela for this, and it looks like a big celebration of the university.

Other: Events and fests are celebrated individually by all the departments. The crowd is awesome here.

Our college has good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Dell, HCL, and HP. Around 45% of students get internships on our campus. Top roles offered are software engineer, system administrator, and cyber security expert.

Infrastructure: Our campus main building and hostel are fully equipped with Wi-Fi. It has a well-maintained library. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Labs are equipped with the latest lab safety equipment and modern-day lab tools. The quality of food served in the mess and canteen is good and hygienic. There is a proper medical room with qualified doctors and nurses. Our college has a fully equipped sports auditorium and well-maintained sports ground of various dimensions.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and humble. The course curriculum is well-updated accordingly. Internships offered by our college make students industry ready. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: I chose this course because it is good to crack UPSC exams. Food quality should be improved in our college.
