Overall I'm Satisfied with NIT Trichy, The placements are excellent.

Placements: Almost all students (except 8-12) were placed. The highest Package was 52 LPA, and the average package was 18 LPA. The top Companies were Bring Central and AWS. Because of the recession, the internship situation is quite bad only 8 students got internships. The top Roles were SDA and Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: The labs are Excellent, Central Library is very good. Hostel Quality is not very good, we were allocated 4 seater room and the Wi-Fi coverage in Hostel is very poor. Mess is also good. NITT Hospital is open 24/7. NITT Have an Indoor sports center, Indoor badminton court, volleyball court, Multiple Basketball courts, Football ground, Cricket Ground, Open Gym and Swimming Pool.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, but we don't have any time to clear any doubts from them outside the class. The teaching quality is very good but the pace of the lecture is quite fast and it's very difficult to keep up with the pace. We have all the core CS topics in our syllabus, OS, DBMS, NETWORK, DSA and also we have Data Analytics, Machines Learning in our syllabus so I would say it's relevant. Semester exam difficulty is medium, we can manage CTs (Class Tests) with one-night study, But for FAT (Final Assessment Test) we need to study the topics beforehand. Almost All the students generally pass except 5-10 students.

Other: I chose MCA because it was the natural choice after BCA. NITT has, NITT FEST and FESTEMBER events (cultural), and our MCA course has VERSION (Teach), SPIELMAC (Sports), INFOTREK (Teach), and other departments also have many other events.

Review of NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Above 90% of students get placed every year in our course. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc. Around 10-20% of students got internship opportunities in 3rd and 4th semester. Top roles offered are SDE, data analyst, business analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 800 acres of land. All facilities are available inside the campus like a library, a sports complex, shops, etc. The MCA course has a separate department. All classrooms and labs are average. The hostel facility is available for students. The hostel has different messes like north, south, Kerala, Andhra, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are helpful. They guide us. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is updated with new subjects. Semester exams are not much difficult. You can pass by studying 1 week before exams.

Other: I chose this course because it is a great course. I appeared for the NIMCET entrance exam to get admission here. Events and fests are conducted after every 2-3 months. There are many places to visit nearby.

A good start to my career.

Placements: Basically, they had a principle, like passing out, students are invited to college, to help them in preparing for the placement grounds, along with the MNC trainers. HCL Technologies Ltd, LTI Mindtree Ltd, and Persistent Systems are usual recruiters of ours, with some more companies added on every year.

Infrastructure: Students must adhere to the norms of the institution without any questioning. Institution had a strong foundation of knowledge, resources, and features. It's one of the top-ranked institutions in Trichy with effective classrooms. Maintains the students' data more confidentially.

Faculty: Faculty members conduct daily assessments on a few of the selected topics, which makes us familiar with the subjects and makes us feel free from fear. Faculty members' works are recognised by providing them with an excellence award annually. All the faculty members in our college are specialized in their specializations.

A good college that you can join.

Placements: About 83% of students are placed in my batch; the strength of my batch is 109. The highest package in my batch is INR 44 LPA, and the lowest one is INR 7 LPA from this year until now. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Goldman Sachs, Samsung Semiconductor, BNY Mellon, Legato, and many more. In my batch, in total, 13 students got internships and 12 got FTEs after internships, and the companies are Amazon, BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, SAP Labs, etc. Roles offered were SDE 1, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Cyber Security, Associate Manager, and Deputy Manager.

Infrastructure: The facilities for my course and other courses are almost the same; for all batches of MCA, there is a separate class available, intellectual teachers are there, lab facilities are provided along with a good internet connection, and there is a study room called Octagon in which students can study 24 hours a day with high-speed internet and AC facilities. Students can also study in the library until the evening, which is a huge library. Almost all types of gaming facilities are available: gyms, swimming pools, and more. In hostels, 24*7 Wi-Fi, water, and washing machines are available, along with one common room where we can enjoy cricket matches on TV. Genuinely, food quality is average, with both north Indian and south Indian mess options available. There are numerous canteens open until 2 a.m., and hospital services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, and they are so qualified. Where teaching quality is above average, MCA is not as powerful as compared to B.Tech and M.Tech courses at NIT Trichy, but it is above average, we can say. As compared to all other NITs, NIT Trichy's semester exam is the toughest; here, students get an 8.5 CGPA out of 10 CGPA very rarely.

Other: I chose this course to become a good software engineer. The best thing about my course is that it is fully dedicated to software engineers. There are some outdated subjects available in my course that should be removed. In terms of events, I think NIT Trichy is very nice for Festember, NITT Fest, Pragyan, SportsFete, and all types of festival and events.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: Placements provided in our course are very good. More than 98% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, the average salary package is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package is around 8 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Codenation, Google, Amazon, BNY Mellon, SAP Labs, Samsung, Razorpay, Morgan Stanley, Citi Corp, etc. The roles offered in this course are software engineer and data analyst. Companies visit our college in the 3rd semester to provide internships for upcoming summer vacations. Around 15-20% of students grab internship offers and all of them get converted to PPOs. Companies also visit in the 5th semester to provide full-time employment.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in our college like a central library and computer labs to sit 24X7. Hostels are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Students can access the college-level library or labs and departmental library and labs. Computer application is the department for the MCA course. There are 26 boys' hostels and most of them are 2 seaters. Some of them are 3 seater and 1 seater. PG students get 1 seater hostels. There are 6 to 7 messes having different cuisines like South Indian, north Indian, Kerala, Hyderabad, Andhra, etc. Students can choose the mess every month. Food quality and quantity are above average, and punctuality is maintained. There are multiple canteens inside the campus that provide snacks and different food items.

Faculty: The course curriculum for MCA is designed very well as every year, it is changed according to the communication with the alumni who are working in the industry. Professors are well qualified with Ph.D. They teach well according to the course curriculum. It is a 6-semester course.

Other: I chose this course because it provides good placements. Students get similar opportunities as CSE students. Students can get admission in this course through the NIMCET exam according to their rank. Our college organises 3 college-level fests such as Festember, Pragyan, and Nittfest. Sportsfete is the sports fest organised in our college where students from different branches and departments compete with each other in different sports. Campus crowd is moderate. Our campus is spread over 800. There are around 8,000 to 10,000 students in our college. Scholarships are provided by the college that are funded by the college alumnus but that scholarship is grabbed by only a few students. They apply for scholarships from their states, as every state provides scholarships to their students studying outside. There is a central-level scholarship provided by the NSP portal. Our college has many technical clubs that organises different events like technical and non-technical frequently which are managed by the students. Some technical clubs help in managing different college parts like mess and a payment app has been made in the food stall. Students learn many things and industry-level work through these events.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Laboratories are available. It includes systems like Intel I7 processor, Nvidia graphics, 1 TB SSD, 64 GB RAM, etc. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the speed is 800 Mbps. Hostel facilities are very good. We have an RO water facility on our campus. Electricity facility is available 24X7. Washing machine is available. Each hostel room has a bed with all facilities.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very good. We need to make a lot of projects which prepare us to work in companies. Faculty members are friendly with students. Few of them are very strict.

Other: I did BCA, so I chose MCA for further studies. It is the best college for MCA courses. Our college should encourage students to go out and gain experience regarding top companies. Events and fests are good, and we enjoy them very much.
