PU Campus - My college my pride, I am giving this title as it gives me pleasure to say this thing.
Placements: So, I have just started my journey of pursuing my masters and I am glad that I have been pursuing it from Panjab University (main campus). Talking about the placement opportunities, there are great placement opportunities being offered to the students. Nearly 50% of students get placed every year with a good package and at very reputed companies. The average package of a student here is around 4.5 LPA. The roles that are being offered here are associate software engineer, system engineer, full-stack web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: At Panjab University (main campus), the infrastructure is totally fabulous. There are different departments for different courses. All the departments are well-maintained, making students feel comfortable and homely. There are even separate libraries in each department. As well as common library named A. C. Joshi where students can sit as much long as they want. Labs are properly functioning, making students to carry out their activities or tasks smoothly.
Faculty: Faculty or non-technical or clerical staff in the university are very highly educated. Teachers are very knowledgeable and always try to teach something new to the students that they may remember it throughout their life. The course curriculum being set is very relevant having the capacity to meet today's technological requirements. The semester exams in college take place every 6 months. It is not very difficult to pass the exams as they are relevant to what has been taught in the class.
Other: The crowd here is of diverse cultures. Students come from different states or cities to pursue degrees from PU. I have chosen this course as I want to pursue a good career in the field of IT. There are many events that may take place every month in order to develop connectivity, leadership, management, etc., within students so that they can get real-world exposure too.

It is value for money. College life is a golden time of your life so choose wisely.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. If your course is right secondly you must have built connections with your teachers, your tutorials, and people in this college. They also give you the opportunity to join an internship program and get valuable guidance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but some problems are there. Some classrooms leak while training but overall it's good greenery everywhere. Library provide you competition books, PYQ's, and also your course related study material. Mess and canteen also provide you tasty food.
Faculty: This college has been under NEP for the past year. So you can learn anything apart from your course which is valuable for you or you are interested in it. Teachers are also very supportive. Semester exams are for your evaluation of how much you study, and also important for your internal marks.
Other: I think everybody has their own choices to which course they want to pursue so I have. Events and fests are there in the college but right now college doesn't do it is done by your seniors.

Goswami Ganesh Dutt Sanatan Dharma College is a good college.
Placements: The college has its own placement cell, and MNCs visit the campus, like Delliote, which is a regular visitor for internships and jobs. For an undergraduate course, the average package ranges from 6 LPA to 10 LPA, depending on your skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: The college is no doubt small in terms of area and non-AC classes, but it has a furnished library and has Wi-Fi on campus. The college has 3 canteens, there exists a sports department, but no proper sports grounds on the campus. The hostel is worth the money, with all facilities and the best part of the college.
Faculty: There are mid-semester exams and then the university exams. The MSTs are relatively tough to pass and are compulsory, as the university exams are easy to pass. The curriculum is comprehensive and related to other universities historically.

Good college, and my 3 years were spent in that college with a positive atmosphere.
Placements: I was late for the admission, but still they gave me a chance to be part of their college, and on the first day, I was a little scared of being late, but the teacher warmly welcomed me in the classroom, and they helped me to cover my previous syllabus too, and they helped me to make friends.
Infrastructure: Classroom are very clean. The sweepers daily clean the classrooms, and benches are good and comfortable for students to study. Labs are well-maintained. Sports room has many things to see inside. Garden is also good. Huge ground is also there.
Faculty: I have done B.A. Bachelor's of Arts with English honours with this college, and teachers were taking classes on a daily basis and they make sure that students are aware of what's going on in the classroom and pay attention towards topics. Faculty members are good.
Other: In our college, there are many events being organised as per the festival seasons. Campus crowd is also good, as per my experience. Students are very friendly, and you will not feel left out or alone. Also, there is a stationery shop where you can buy any stationery items.

Truth about PGGC11 and its reality.
Placements: 75% is the lowest cutoff for admission in this college. Placement is average, the placement cell is currently closed, and it is better to look for placements yourself rather than depending on the college. Companies like Dell and TCL are top recruiters. Overall, it's great.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is big but not well managed. The quality of classrooms, washrooms, and the auditorium is very bad. There is an urgent need for upgrades in infrastructure. There is no network in the college, no Wi-Fi. Many places don't even support mobile data.
Faculty: The college is very strict about attendance and takes studies seriously. The teachers are great and know what they are doing. However, the details of exams and syllabus are provided on the spot, which makes it difficult for the students. The difficulty level is moderate, and the pass percentage is 25%.
Other: The college holds a youth fest during September and organises startup growth plans for students. NCC and NSS wings are active in the college and hold programs. Overall, the campus is great. Regular maintenance of the college campus is needed. The campus is close to Punjab University, PGI and PEC, which provide opportunities to meet different people.

SD College is a good Co-ed college. You can think of taking admission in this college.
Placements: Placements are average at SD College. If a student really wants to get a placement and works hard for it, then only they can get a placement. Those students who didn't work hard will not get any placements. According to the 2023 placement data, only 25 students managed to get placement. The highest package offered is 6-7 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2-2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SD College is excellent. The IT building is fully AC centralized, and the library is also amazing. The food available in the mess and canteen is also good. In SD college, a lot of students are interested in sports, so those students who are interested in sports and want to make a career out of it can apply to SD college.
Faculty: Some of teachers are highly qualified in the IT department. The curriculum of the BCA course is a bit old yet relevant. It does not make the student fully industry-ready. The semester exams of PU colleges are easy, but the checking done is too tight. A student has to get 25 marks out of 100 to pass in MST.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in computers since childhood. I love doing coding, and I think SD college is good, but it can improve in ways like they can conduct more IT-related competitions, Hackathons, etc. All the extracurricular activities are excellent at SD College.
