GSEB HSC Science Board - Exam Dates, Syllabus, Results & Sample Papers

The Gujarat Board conducted GSEB HSC Exam 2026 from February 26, 2026 to March 18, 2026. The Gujarat board released the GSEB HSC time table 2026 on the official website - gseb.org. Students can download the GSEB 12th time table 2026 online. The GSEB HSC exam 2025 was held from February 27 to March 17, 2025.

The total marks in each subject is 100. There are six subjects in the GSEB 12th exam. The grant total marks is 600. Students should understand the GSEB HSC exam pattern. This helps to know the marking scheme of the GSEB HSC exam. 

If you are not satisfied with the marks, you can apply for revaluation or rechecking of the paper. 
The marks awarded after the rechecking/revaluation shall be considered as the final marks. Then a new marksheet will be issued to you thereafter. 

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will release the GSEB HSC result 2026 in May 2026. The GSEB HSC result 2026 will be published on the official website - gseb.org. Students have to enter the six-digit seat number to check the GSEB HSC result 2026. GSEB HSC result 2025 was out on May 5, 2025.

If students fail supplementary exam, they have to repeat the year and take the GSEB 12th exam next year. They can also join any tuition centres for the supplementary exam preparation. They are advised to make a proper time table and learn accordingly.

Students should not paste money on answer sheets. Pasting money on answer paper will be considered as cheating. If a student does cheating during GSEB HSC exam, they will be barred from writing the exam.

The GSEB HSC hall ticket 2026 for theory exam was released on February 17, 2026. GSEB HSC admit card 2026 for practical exam was released on Jan 27, 2026. Students have to collect the GSEB HSC hall ticket 2026 from their schools and carry it on all exam days. The GSEB HSC hall ticket 2025 was released on February 18, 2025.

No, examiners will not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit. Marks will be deducted for spelling mistakes in the Language Papers. Students are advised to be careful with the spellings, so that they won't loose any marks. They are also advised not to waste time by writing much more than the word limit. 

Students have to follow the Class 12 syllabus applicable for the year for which they are appearing the Class 12 board exam. They can check the Class 12th syllabus on the official website of the board. They can also take help from their teachers for the Class 12th  syllabus.

The students should read the guidelines given on Class 12 board exam question paper. Doing both options will take time. So they should read the questions and the answer should be written for the one they know well.

Students are keen to know their Gujarat board 12th board result before it is released officially. This curiosity is seen in students who have done well in GSEB HSC board exams. It is not possible to know your marks before the result is announced officially by the board. 

Many students do not know how to find the percentage of marks obtained in GSEB HSC exams. First, divide the marks by the maximum marks. Then Multiply the result by 100.
