Students preparing for the GSEB Class 12 examinations must start with the GSEB Preparation as early as possible as the GSEB 12th Syllabus is vast. Covering the entire syllabus becomes a hectic task for students during the last month of the exam. So, it is advisable to complete it at least a month before the exam so that the students have sufficient time in hand for revisions and mock tests. Students must also check the GSEB Class 12 Exam Pattern to understand the marking scheme and the type of questions that are asked in the examination. Here are some essential things that are required to prepare for the GSEB Class 12 exams effectively.

  1.  Prepare a solid study plan
Students must check the entire syllabus and prepare a robust plan to complete the syllabus in time. Students must check the syllabus of the entire subject and simultaneously go through the previous years' question papers to understand which subjects bear the utmost importance for fetching good marks. Create your day by day robust study plan to cover them a month before the exam.
  1.  Make notes for each subject
Make notes for each subject and list down all the important formulae, definitions, key points, etc. Don’t list down all things that come across your way while reading. You must know which one to keep and which one to leave. To understand that, just go through the previous years' question papers of each subject and then make notes of frequently asked topics. Making notes come handy for last-minute revision.
  1.  Shift between subject categories
There can be two types of subjects, basically– one, where you need to learn a lot of things such as biology and second, where you need to use your calculation power such as math and physics. It is advisable to switch between these subjects during your study to keep the momentum flowing till your last day of preparation.
  1.  Give mock tests
If you practice mock tests every day, it will help you the way you have never imagined. First, you will come to know your knowledge level and can prepare accordingly. Second, you will learn about time management. Third, it will help you see where you stand in terms of competition with respect to others.
  1. Take proper sleep
Do not sacrifice your sleep. It makes you lose focus and you will feel dull throughout the day. Always sleep for a minimum of 8 hours every day.
  2. Take Regular Breaks
Do not sit and study for long hours as it might reduce your concentration level. Taking planned and proper breaks help with retaining knowledge. Prepare a study routine that suits you

GSEB 12th Preparation Tips for Chemistry

From 2019, GSEB started following the CBSE syllabus and NCERT books, therefore, the marking scheme is the same as CBSE. The syllabus for Chemistry is quite vast so students must begin with their studies as early as possible. Numericals play a very important role here. Students must be well thorough with the periodic table. They must practise the chemical equations daily so as to get a hang of it.

The golden rule to get good marks in Mathematics is 'practise'. Practise and only practise will fetch you good marks in Mathematics. Learn the formulas and do mental math. An in-depth understanding of the concepts is required and if that is achieved then you can score good marks in the subject.

Biology is all about diagrams. Students must practise the diagrams on a daily basis as mostly the long answer type questions require you to draw a labelled diagram. Labelling is an important aspect as it will fetch you marks. Make sure that the diagrams are made natly and properly. Along with that, students must be well thorough with both th eparts- Zoology and Botany. The students should focus on learning the keywords and terms which cannot be replaced. This helps in scoring well in the exam.
