Maharashtra SSC Exam Pattern 2026 is prescribed by the Maharashtra Board. It highlights the overall structure of the exam. The test carries five compulsory subjects. Q:   Will I get enough time to finish my Maharashtra SSC board exam Mathematics question paper?

It is actually different for everyone since everyone has their own speed. It also depends on the paper- if its lengthy or not. There is a Cool-off time of 15 minutes in addition to the writing time. Use the 'Cool-off time' to get familiar with questions and to plan your answers. Read questions carefully before answering. Read the instructions carefully and you can analyze your entire question paper no matter which subject is it, and mentally set time for each sections. Since there are mcqs too, you can solve them in the 15 mins cool off time and thus save you a lot of time.

Q:   How many students appear for Maharashtra 10th exams every year?

MSBSHSE conducts Maharashtra board 10th exams every year in February-March. Over 17 lakh students appear for their Class 10 exams from the state. 

Last year, the board began the Maharashtra SSC exams 2025 on February 21, 2025. These concluded on March 17, 2025. The examinations are held in pen and paper format.

  • 80 marks are given for written exam
  • 20 marks are given for internal assessment

Q:   Can I go to washroom during Maharashtra SSC board exam?
A: 

When appearing for the Maharashtra 10th board exams, you must feel relaxed and comfortable. Yes, you will be allowed to go to the washroom during the examination but only once and with an invigilator. Students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exams, however, they must know that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.

Q:   I have not yet completed Maharashtra SSC syllabus even once but my friends have revised the entire syllabus 2-3 times. What should I do?
A: 

Everyone has their own way and speed of studying. Do not compare yourself with others. However, this does not mean that not completing Mah 10th syllabus is okay. It isn't! 

Plan your day, make study schedule that you can follow comfortably. Allocate hours to different subjects and stick to them. Take small, regular breaks, go for a walk, sit and talk to family/friends and then get back to studying. 

Q:   Can I finish all preparation for the Maharashtra SSC examination if I start now?
