Maharashtra SSC Exam Pattern 2026: The Maharashtra SSC 2026 exam pattern comprises 5 compulsory subjects:
- English
- Hindi
- Social Science
- Mathematics
- Science
The Maharashtra Board SSC exams 2026 will be conducted between February 20 and March 18, 2026 in pen and paper mode.
Another language paper is available in different language options including Marathi. The minimum percentage of marks required is 35% to obtain a pass result.
In Mathematics and Science, the total marks are 150 each and a candidate is required to obtain at least 52 marks in each subject to obtain a pass result in the subject.
The remaining subject exams are of 100 marks each and the candidate requires at least 35 marks to obtain a pass result.

According to the NEP 2020, Board exams will be held twice a year from the academic session 2025-26. Students will be allowed to retain their best scores. However, Maharashtra board is yet to release any official notification in this regard.
In 2024, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducted the MSBSHSE Class 12 exams 2024 between February 21 and March 19, 2024, in pen and paper format. The Board issued the Maharashtra HSC Hall tickets 2024 in February 2024. The Maharashtra HSC Result 2024 is expected to be announced in May 2024. Students can check their results using their roll number and mother's name.
