Maharashtra SSC Exam Pattern 2026: The Maharashtra Board 10th  Exams 2026 include 5 compulsory subjects:

  • English
  • Hindi
  • Social Studies
  • Maths
  • Science

Another language paper is available in different languages, including Marathi.

The minimum percentage of marks required to clear exams is 35.

In Maths and Science, total marks are 150 each, and students need to secure at least 52 marks in each subject.

The exams of remaining subjects are of 100 marks each, and students need at least 35 marks to clear the subject.

The Maharashtra 10th exams 2026 will be conducted between February 20 and March 18, 2026 in pen and paper format.

According to the NEP 2020, Board exams is being held twice a year from the academic session. Students are not allowed to retain their best scores. However, the Maharashtra board is yet to release any official notification in this regard. 

 

Q:   How many students appear for Maharashtra 10th exams every year?
A: 

MSBSHSE conducts Maharashtra board 10th exams every year in February-March. Over 17 lakh students appear for their Class 10 exams from the state. 

Last year, the board began the Maharashtra SSC exams 2025 on February 21, 2025. These concluded on March 17, 2025. The examinations are held in pen and paper format.

  • In Maharashtra SSC exams 2026, each subject carries a total of 100 marks, which are distributed between theory and practical exams.
