Students who have completed class 12th with mathematics or statistics or graduated with at least 50 per cent marks and have a background in these two subjects can apply for this course. Entrance Exams for Business Analytics
Some of the popular entrance tests that allow admission to students in Business Analytics courses are:
- CAT- An applicant must pass the Common Admission Test (CAT), a national-level management aptitude test, in order to be considered for admission to the MBA programmes offered by 20 IIMs and more than 1,200 B-schools in India. Every year, more than two lakh people submit applications for the CAT exam, which is given in a computer-based style and lasts for two hours. The CAT exam includes multiple-choice questions.
- MAT- For admission to MBA/PGDM programmes, the All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test, also known as the MAT. Multiple times a year, the exam is given in four phases: February, May, September, and December. Candidates who meet the requirements may be admitted to more than 800 business schools that accept the MAT.
- XAT- XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level management entrance test administered by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. In addition to XLRI and ten other XAMI member institutes, approximately 1,000 B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes.
- GMAT- The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test designed to evaluate certain analytic, written, mathematical, oral, and reading skills in written English.
- CMAT- The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the three-hour Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for students applying to MBA and postgraduate management programmes. In India, the CMAT is one of the most well-liked MBA entry tests. Every year, 70,000 or more candidates apply. Around 1300 B-schools in India recognise CMAT scores.
- SNAP- Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP Test) is a single aptitude test administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to its 15 component institutes' MBA/PGDM programmes. The SNAP exam is a timed test.
