In order to get admission for BTech course at IIT Roorkee, students are required to apply via JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced application. The process of application for JEE Mains consists of three steps, i.e registration, form filling & documents upload followed by payment of application fees. Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for  JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2025 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. IIT Roorkee offers a four-year BTech programme across 11 specialisations along with a five-year integrated BTech + MTech programmes across two specialisations. To be eligible for the same, aspirants must have completed their Class 12 with a valid score.

So, candidates seeking admission to BTech in CSE must target to secure a JEE Advanced rank of up to 550 or below. At IIT Roorkee, the minimum aggregate required for its offerd courses ranges between 50% to 75% in Class 12 boards.
