at IIT Roorkee, Roorkee

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech programmes at IIT Mandi and IIT Roorkee are similar in many aspects. Both require candidates to have a B.Tech or B.E degree in a relevant field, with a minimum qualifying percentage of 60% or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) or equivalent for general and OBC candidates, and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (out of 10) or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD candidates. However, there may be slight differences in specific eligibility criteria for different M.Tech programmes offered by each institution. It is recommended to check the official websites of both IIT Mandi and IIT Roorkee to get the detailed eligibility criteria for specific M.Tech programmes.

Students are required to apply for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced for admission to IIT Roorkee BTech. The aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls. Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main application number and password. Next, candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee.
