NIT Sikkim offers M.Tech programmes with a duration for two years. M.Tech programme at NIT Sikkim is offered in five specialisations namely:

The Admission eligibility criteria for the M.Tech programme includes Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 60% aggregate. GATE and CCMT counselling is prefer for the selection criteria.
The total fee for the MTech programme at NIT Sikkim is INR 1.4 lakh. The total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. ST/SC & PH students are fully exempted from paying tuition fees, while the most economically backward students (whose family income is less than INR 1 lakh per annum) are granted full remission of the tuition fee. Other economically backward students, whose family income falls between INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakh per annum, are granted a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.
NIT Sikkim CCMN cutoff 2025 has been released for the last round. The cutoff was released for admission to MSc in Chemistry. The last round closing rank for the same course, among the General AI category candidates was 1800. Therefore, among the General AI category candidates, it is necessary to get a rank of 1800 or below to get admission into the college. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank was 2348.
