- Click on the Know your Admission Status link
- Enter SEED B. Des/M.Des ID and password
- Click onLogin button
- View SEED 2026 result
- Download and print results.

What after SEED 2026 result?
The score of the SEED 2026 written exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round. The PRPI for SID will be conducted in TWO rounds.
- Candidates who are included in the PRPI shortlist will have to book their slots.
- Next, they have to upload their Design portfolios and Portfolio tasks.
- First Merit List is released
- Fee Payment and Commencement of the programme take place.

How is SEED Rank and Marks calculated?
SEED Entrance Test will be conducted in online mode between 11 AM to 4 PM. The question types will include MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension-based.
- The exam will be of 60 minutes and there will be 60 questions.
- +1 will be awarded for every correct answer.
- There will be no negative marking in the SEED Entrance Test for B.Des.
- The scores will be calculated by Symbiosis Institute of Design and will be released on the website.

How to Download SEED Merit List?
SEED First Merit List is for students who have cleared the SEED Entrance Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interaction. The merit list is prepared based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the SEED 2026 exam, PRPI, and the task uploaded.
SEED Scores are released in the form of Merit list. It will be released on the website of SEED sid.edu.in. Login ID and Password are required to view the SEED Merit List.

Admission to the B.Des program offered by the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will be in the following sequence:

SEED 2026 Exam was conducted on March 22, 2026 (Sunday) for B.Des and May 03, 2026 (Sunday) for M.Des. The exam is held online in computer based mode.
SEED Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) is conducted in two phases. Phase I was conducted in March 2026. Phase 2 was conducted in April 2026. Candidates will be notified of the next phase in which they have to appear.
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) conducted the SEED 2026 written exam on January 11, 2026.
SEED exam will be of 1 hour duration (to be conducted between 10 am to 4 pm). The exam slot allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.
On exam day, the candidate has to be ready an hour so before the exam to ensure all pre-exam formalites are comleted on time. The SEED exam will be being conducted in an online proctored mode.

There are 24 seats in Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) M.Des programme. 4 Seats are reserved for International students.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) does not have any provisions for direct admission to the second year. So, candidates have to compulsory take admission in the first year of the B.Des program. Note that admission to the B.Des is only through the SEED 2026 exam.
Scores of the qualifying exam will not be considered for admission to the B.Des program. Neither does SID accept scores of other popular entrance exams like NIFT, NID DAT, etc.
