If you want to pursue an M.Des from IITs, then you must give the CEED Entrance Exam. The exam will be conducted by IIT Bombay and applications will be availble at CEED website. CEED Form Fees
IIT Bombay will begin the CEED 2027 registration Process from October 01, 2026. Candidates who want to pursue M.Des or PhD from IITs and other CEED participating and result sharing institutes. The CEED 2027 Forms will be available at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates are required to fill up the required details, upload the necessary documents and then pay the application fees.
CEED registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it has to be paid through the payment option provided on the website while submitting the registration form for the CEED Entrance Exam. Credit card, debit card and net-banking options are available for fee payment. The registration fee will not include service and other charges and the processing fees that the banks may levy.

CEED Form Fee 2027 for Female Candidates
The fees for female candidates are lower as compared to other genders. All females belonging to any caste, religion or nationality will have to pay the following registration fee for CEED.

Commonly asked questions
CEED 2027 applications will open from October 1, 2027. The application had to be filled online at CEED portal. The candidate can apply with both regular and late fees.
To fill the CEED form, candidate should
- Get registered by entering details like name, email id, mobile number and date of birth.
- On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Next, log in to candidate account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
- Select test centres; a maximum of three exam centres can be selected in order of priority.
- Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature, and certificates.
- Pay the application fee.
The weightage of CEED Part A is 25%. Candidates have to attempt 44 questions in CEED Part A. It includes MSQs, MCQs, and NAT questions. Total marks for CEED Part A is 150.
It is possible to prepare for CEED without coaching. But before you start on exam preparation on your own, you need the conviction that you can do it. If you are not convinced yourself and only decide to forgo coaching on the advice of others, the journey may be difficult.
If you prepare for the exam on your own, you need to be serious and plan the preparation smartly. Go through the syllabus. You must be able to decide the difficulty level, the time it will take to cover the syllabus, and revise.

Other Important Points related to CEED Registration Form 2027
- The normal registration fee shown above is applicable till the regular closing date of registration.
- A late fee of ₹500 /- applies to registrations of all the candidates submitted after the regular closing date.
- CEED Merit List /Rank will be prepared according to the category provided by the candidate in the CEED registration form. So candidates must provide the correct category certificate in the online registration form.

M.Des Admission Application Fee
Once you have cleared the CEED Entrance Exam and received the CEED Scorecard, you can apply to individual CEED participating and result-sharing colleges. Candidates will be required to fill the M.Des/PhD form for various IITs individually or they need to check it with the individual institutes. This is because each institute follows a different admission process.
