COMEDK 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admissions at engineering, medical and dental colleges in Karnataka have to fulfill multiple COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria. The course-wise COMEDK UGET 2020 eligibility criteria are as follows:
For engineering courses (BTech):
Candidates are eligible to apply for COMEDK 2020 if they fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary/second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognised State/Central board with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects for admission to BTech courses.
- General candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% SC, ST, and OBC candidates). Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with any of the Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology or technical vocational subject.
- Diploma holders are not eligible to appear in the entrance test as there will be no lateral entry admissions.
For Architectural courses:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary/second PUC or equivalent exam from a recognised State/Central Board with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects.
- Candidates who have passed a 10+3 Diploma certificate recognized by Central/State Government in relevant stream with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) are also eligible to pursue architecture courses.
- The candidates must have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture and scored a minimum 80 marks out of 200. Reserved category students are also required to score a minimum 80 marks for admission to BArch courses through the COMEDK.
Note: Architecture aspirants don’t need to take COMEDK 2020. To seek admissions they have to fill a separate application form for COMEDK UGET 2020.
COMEDK Application Form 2020
The authorities has released the application form of COMEDK UGET 2020 online on January 16. Candidates will be required to fill in all the mandatory details in the COMEDK UGET 2020 application form. Candidates will need to follow the below steps to fill in the application form for COMEDK 2020.
Steps to fill COMEDK 2020 Application Form
Registration: Candidates will need to register for the exam by entering their name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number. As soon as the registration will be completed, a User ID and password will be generated for all applicants and sent to them through email and SMS.
Filling the COMEDK application form: After the registration, candidates will need to login again to start application form filling. The candidate will be required to enter their personal details, academic details, and communication details. Candidates will also be needed to mention a unique photo ID Proof number here. Permissible photo IDs are Voter ID, Passport Driving License, Aadhar Card /E-Aadhar, and PAN card.
Uploading Documents: The next step in filling the application form of COMEDK 2020 is to upload all the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, and others in the prescribed format as stated below:

Test Centre Selection: Exam will be conducted at across 342 test centres in India. Applicants must choose three test centres in order of their preference.

COMEDK Admit Card 2020
Candidates who apply for the entrance exam successfully will only be able to download their COMEDK 2020 admit card on May 1. Candidates will be needed to download their admit card by logging into the official website using their User ID and password generated at the time of registration.
After downloading the admit card, every candidate must check it for any errors/mistakes. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must contact the authorities to rectify the same. Candidates with error in the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
The COMEDK admit card 2020 must be carried by candidates along with a valid photo ID to the examination hall. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination under any circumstances. The admit card will comprise details such as name of the candidate, examination centre venue, timings, and the general exam day instructions.

COMEDK 2020 Result
Candidates who will appear in the examination can check their COMEDK 2020 result on May 26. To check their result, Candidates will be required to log in to the official website using their User ID and password generated at the time of registration. COMEDK 2020 Counselling
Candidates who will qualify the entrance exam can participate in COMEDK 2020 counselling to be held offline through a centralised single window format. There will be two rounds of counselling followed by a spot round in case of any vacancies. Candidates participating in the counselling will be required to follow these steps:
Reporting: Candidates will be required to report to the allotted venue in person.
Document verification: Candidates will be required to bring all the necessary documents for the verification purpose without which they will not be allotted a seat.
Biometric and photo verification and registration: During biometric and photo verification, candidates will be issued a COMEDK UGET registration slip.
Seat Allotment: The candidate will need to fill three choices of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. Based on the choices and ranks, seats will be allotted to candidates.
Acknowledgement of seat allotment and payment of academic fee: Candidates have to accept the seat and pay the prescribed fee to be able to participate further in the counselling process. In the case of upgradation, candidates must first accept the seat and indicate their willingness to upgrade in the next round.
