What is JEE Advanced?

IIT Admission Process via JEE Advanced 2026

All candidates who will be declared qualified in the JEE Advanced 2026 result will have to register for a national-level centralised counselling called JoSAA. The Ministry of Education has established the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The JoSAA counselling process facilitates the allocation of seats for undergraduate engineering programs at the IITs. Admission to IITs is based on JEE Advanced ranks. Candidates have to register for the online JoSAA counselling and fill in their choices of IITs and ranches.
