Ramaiah Institute of Technology accepts admission in BE programme based on KCET scores via KEA Counselling. Aspirants who are allotted seat have to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment. In 2025 KCET cutoff ranges between 2000-6000.

KCET is only for Karnataka domicile students — so students from other states cannot apply for KCET unless they have studied in Karnataka for a minimum number of years (usually Classes 6–10 or 11–12 in a Karnataka school).
