JEE Mains 2027 Registration Re-KYC (Aadhaar Update)
Even if your Aadhaar is already in DigiLocker, the data saved there might be months or years old. If you recently updated your name spelling, changed your house address, or updated your phone number with UIDAI, DigiLocker will not know until you tell it to check again.
If DigiLocker holds old information while the NTA portal checks for current details, the system throws an error. Doing a "re-KYC" simply tells DigiLocker to fetch a fresh, updated copy of your Aadhaar card directly from UIDAI.
