KCET 2018 exam has now concluded. The exam was conducted over a window of two days. While the Mathematics and Biology paper was conducted on April 18, the exam for Physics and Chemistry was conducted on April 19. Soon after the exam got over, KCET 2018 answer keys for all the four papers were released by Allen Career Institute. The answer keys aim to help candidates evaluate their performance in the examination.

The official answer keys of KCET 2018 are expected to be released by Kerala Examination Authority in the month of May, 2018. The candidates are also given a chance to challenge the answer keys released by the official website within the given time frame.

 KCET 2018 Physics question paper and answer key By Allen


This year, Mathematics Paper comprised a total of 60 questions. The paper was moderately easy as compared to last year. However, the Biology paper comprised a total of 60 questions within the prescribed syllabus. This made it easier for the candidates who have studied well to score good in the KCET 2018 Biology paper. While the Physics paper had 50% of numericals this year and was tricky to solve as compared to last year, Chemistry paper was a well balanced composition of a total of 60 questions. However, both the papers comprised questions within the prescribed KCET syllabus and had a good number of numerical based questions.

KCET 2018 results are expected to be declared in the month of June, 2018. However, last year the KCET 2017 results were announced on May 30. Take a look at the KCET 2018 important dates here!

Along with the scores, KEA also releases the cut off list of the qualified candidates. KCET 2018 cut offs will soon be released once the exam results are declared.

No, students can't get admission in NIT Surathkal BTech with KCET scores. The institute accepts admissions for BTech solely through JEE Main scores. Students have to then appear for the counselling process to get a seat.

6-8 months is a sufficient time to prepare for the KCET. However, for students who are well-versed with 10+2, they will find cracking the KCET easy.

Based on past year trends, Maths is generally considered difficult and time-consuming section to prepare for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. Rest are easy to crack.
