Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University is a multi-campus university with its headquarters in Hyderabad. With its first campuses established in 1972 in Anantapur and Kakinada, the university has expanded to 4 universities in 2008, namely: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA), and Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad.

The JNTU Hyderabad campus of the university is considered one of the premier engineering colleges in India. JNTU Hyderabad was ranked 88th by the NIRF 2024 in the Engineering category. The university focuses on higher education in streams such as Engineering and Science. The university and its various campuses offer undergraduate programmes (BTech) in all the major engineering branches, postgraduate courses (MTech, MSIT, MBA, and MSc), and Doctoral Programmes (MS, MPhil, and PhD). JNTU Kakinada

JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) was originally known as ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam’ at the time of its establishment in 1946. This college became a constituent of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University w.e.f. October 1972, through an act of the legislature under the control of the then Director of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. JNTU Ananthapur

JNTU Ananthapur was established as a Government Engineering College at Guindy, Madras, in 1946 and shifted to Ananthapur in 1948. In 2008, under the AP Legislature Act, JNTU set up three independent universities - JNTU Hyderabad, JNTU Kakinada, and JNTU Anantapur. The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in different streams. JNTU Hyderabad

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad was established on October 2, 1972. The university has 199 affiliated engineering colleges, 72 pharmacy colleges, and 20 stand-alone MCA/MBA colleges spread over Telangana State. It has over 3.50 lakhs of students on rolls. The University has also signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with many National and International Organizations, Universities, and Institutions. Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) was established in 2008 in Andhra Pradesh. JNAFA University is the first of its kind in the entire country.
