JNTU Kakinada
JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) was originally known as ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam’ at the time of its establishment in 1946. This college became a constituent of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University w.e.f. JNTU Ananthapur was established as a Government Engineering College at Guindy, Madras, in 1946 and shifted to Ananthapur in 1948.
