Age Criteria: 

• He/she should not be of more than 28 years of age as on February 7, 2025
• For SC/ST candidates - there is a relaxation of up to 5 years
• For OBC candidates - there is a relaxation of up to 3 years
• For PWD candidates and ex-servicemen – The age relaxation will be given as per Government of India regulations.

Academic Qualification:

• Candidate must have a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE with a First Class or minimum 60% Mark in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
• In case of final year: Candidates pursuing the following engineering disciplines only are invited to apply:
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical

MDL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Application Process

The MDL Recruitment process will be conducted online only. The application form can be accessed online on the MDL's official website, mazagondock.in.

The candidate will need his/her GATE 2025 registration number, as printed on the GATE Admit Card, to apply for MDL. Always fill in the registration number correctly and apply for the relevant discipline in the MDL Online Application Form.

Important intructions for MDL registration

• Read all the instructions carefully written on the website before starting the registration process.
• Now start with filling in all the mandatory details in the online MDL Application Form.
• Make sure that you fulfil all the eligibility conditions specified for the position at MDL
• Keep all the scanned copies of a recent passport-size color photograph, specimen signature, and other relevant documents in JPEG format ready, as they will be required during the application process.

Steps to register for MDL

1. Visit the official website of MDL
2. Now click on the 'Online Recruitment' tab on the website
3. Open the MDL application form generated with the correct and authentic information.
4. Start by entering your personal, academic and communication details. (make sure that you have a valid e-mail ID)
5. Mention your GATE Registration number and discipline (you will need it at the time of the application process)
6. Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPEG format. (as per the guidelines)
7. The next step will be the fee payment.
8. Submit the MDL application fee offline (cash) at the nearest SBI branch.
9. Download the e-challan and fill the printed copy with the correct information.
10. Once the registration is complete, a unique number will be generated after the e-mail ID is verified to indicate the successful receipt of the application.

Note: The MDL Application form along with a copy of the Challan should be forwarded in an envelope superscribing “Advertisement Ref. No. & Post applied for” through post or courier so as to reach CM (HR-CR) on or before the last date on the following address.

Application Fee Payment

Fee payment for the MDL recruitment process is done offline. Candidates must pay the fee at any nearby SBI branch in cash and bring the e-challan downloaded from the MDL website by the payment deadline. The Bank shall retain its copy of the challan and return the counterfoil to the applicant. After the fee payment, candidates must log in again to the MDL online recruitment account and upload a scanned copy of the bank e-challan as proof of payment.
Note: The bank officials need to fill out the challan with the necessary details and attach the Bank Seal.

MDL Recruitment through GATE 2025: Selection Procedure

• Gate 2025 qualifiers with 4 years of BTech degree with specialisation will be considered for recruitment at MDL.
• Scores of the GATE 2025 exam will only be considered for the present recruitment drive at MDL.
• Last year's GATE scores or previous years will not be considered for recruitment.
• Candidates who will meet the cut-off score decided by MDL will be considered for the next rounds of the recruitment drive.
• GATE 2025 qualifiers will be invited for a round of personal interviews with MDL.
• In the personal interview round, candidates will be scored out of 100 marks.
• Candidates need to carry all the necessary documents related to their educational qualification, GATE scorecard, documents in support of claims for reservation and etc.
• Upon successful verification of documents, the traveling expenses for the personal interview round will be reimbursed as per company policy.

MDL Recruitment through GATE 2025: General Instructions

1. Always preview your application form before the final submission.
2. If there is any mistake in the application form, please correct it in your MDL registration form. There will be no correction facility after the final submission.
3. MDL will not entertain any request or communication in this regard.
4. Take out a printout of your MDL application form with the system-generated unique registration number for reference.
5. Take a print-out of the pre-filled bank challan to pay the one-time, non-refundable processing fee at any SBI branch.
6. The email ID registered at the time of the MDL application needs to remain active for at least one year for any official communication with the company.
7. Try to avoid the last-minute rush and complete the application fee payment process ahead of the submission deadline.
8. If any candidates are found guilty of misrepresenting information, the application will be summarily rejected.
9. MDL reserves the right to cancel, modify, restrict, enlarge, or alter the recruitment process as required.
