Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, released the MHT CET 2020 admit card on November 3 for candidates who have registered for an additional session of the exam. The cell conducted the special session of MHT CET on November 7 for both PCM and PCB groups. MHT CET 2020 admit card/hall ticket comprises details like the aspirants' name, roll number, registration number, name and address of the allotted test centre.
As the MHT CET 2020 exam is over, the CET cell is expected to release the answer key and result very soon. The exam conducting authority will release the MHT CET 2020 answer key (provisional) first. Candidates will be allowed to raise the objections against the provisional answer key as per the schedule. The final MHT CET 2020 answer key will be released after considering all the valid objections. MHT CET 2020 result is also likely to be released along with the final answer key. The CET cell is expected to announce the result date soon.
MHT CET 2020 exam was conducted for PCM and PCB group candidates on October 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 for PCB group and on October 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20 for PCM group. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, released the MHT CET (MH CET) or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2020 admit card for PCM group candidates online on October 4. MHT CET 2020 application form
The application form was released again on May 26 and the last date to fill the form was June 1, 2020. Candidates must fill the application form before the last date as there will be NO date to fill and submit the application form with the late fee. All candidates aspiring for the MHT CET have to complete their registration process through the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org.
For registration, applicants have to enter their details, educational qualifications, contact information, language for question paper, choice of paper, and exam centre. After entering all these details, candidates will be required to upload their photograph, signature and other requisite documents.
The last step for MHT CET 2020 registration is to pay the application fee.

Candidates can pay the application fee online via internet banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI payment gateway. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case. Candidates may check the application fees below:

MHT CET 2020 eligibility criteria
Every candidate needs to satisfy all the eligibility conditions of MHT CET 2020 before applying for it. The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, decides the eligibility criteria for candidates to appear in the exam. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in MHT CET 2020. Aspirants can check the eligibility criteria below:
- The applicant should be a citizen of India.
- There is no age limit to appear in MHT CET 2020.
- Candidate must have passed HSC/class XII exam or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (HSC/XII) in 2020 are considered eligible.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (for General Category) and at least 45% marks (for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates) in aggregate of 5 subjects.
- Female candidates are not eligible for mining engineering course
MHT CET 2020 exam pattern
The exam pattern of MHT CET 2020 has been released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (exam conducting authority), Mumbai, along with the exam notification or application form. From last year, the exam is being conducted in online mode and there will be no negative marking in the exam.
MHT CET pattern will give candidates an idea about the marking scheme, exam duration, marks per question, and total marks of the exam. The exam pattern is given below.

MHT CET 2020 admit card
The MHT CET 2020 admit card date has not been announced by the authority. As the exam has been postponed, the MHT CET admit card release date is also deferred by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (exam conducting authority). The new dates will be announced soon. Successfully registered aspirants will be able to download the admit card of MHT CET 2020 from the official website by using their Application Number and Password till the last date (yet to be announced). Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Aspirants have to carry MHT CET admit card as their entry pass to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID proof. Candidates are advised to keep their admit cards safe as the same will be required during the MHT CET admission and counselling process.

Candidates aspiring for MHT CET 2020 should follow the following tips to score well in the exam:
- Make a study plan for the exam preparation and stick to it
- Before starting preparation, go through the exam syllabus thoroughly, and understand the exam pattern and marking scheme.
- Make short notes for each chapter while preparing. It will help in quick revision during the last days of preparation.
- A candidate needs to understand concepts properly, as the questions can be set in any manner. Doubt in concepts will make it difficult for aspirants to answer even simple questions.

MHT CET 2020 result
The exam conducting body will announce the MHT CET 2020 Result on the official portal after the commencement of exam. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in MHT CET 2020 exam. The same will also be published on the official website. Candidates who will score more than the MHT CET cut off will only be shortlisted in the merit list and allowed to attend the counselling process.

MHT CET 2020 counselling
The counselling process will start after shortlisting the eligible candidates in the merit list. The counselling process will begin soon after the declaration of results. The State Common Entrance Test Cell will conduct the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) in various rounds.
Seats will be allotted to candidates as per their ranks in the entrance test. Verification of documents will also be held during the counselling process.
