MHT CET 2026 Exam Shift Timings

MHT CET Shift Timings 2026: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the MHT CET shift timings 2026. Candidates appearing for the MHT CET 2026 exam must check the shift timings to avoid any last-minute confusion. The authority will conduct the exam in two shifts daily for both the PCM and PCB groups. The MHT CET exam date 2026 was April 11 to 20 (PCM) and April 21 to 26 (PCB). The second attempt was scheduled for May 10 and 11 (PCB) and May 12 to 16 (PCM). The MHT CET 2026 exam will be held for 3 hours.

Candidates do not get any option to choose their preferred exam date and slot. The authorities allot the MHT CET exam date and shifts randomly. Registered applicants will be able to check the allotted shifts on their MHT CET hall ticket. The MHT CET 2026 admit card will be released 3-4 days before the exam. MHT CET 2026 Exam Shift Timings

The authorities will conduct MHT CET 2026 in two shifts on each exam day. The MHT CET exam will be held for 3 hours each. The shift timings remain the same for both PCM and PCB candidates.

Shift Timings
Shift 1 - Morning Shift 9 AM to 12 PM
Shift 2 - Afternoon Shift 2 PM to 5 PM

MHT CET Reporting Timings

Just knowing the MHT CET exam shift timings is not enough. Candidates have to report to the allotted exam centre as per the reporting time. The reporting time is set way ahead of the actual test timings to ensure enough time for frisking and other formalities. Students must follow strict entry rules set by the exam authorities. Late entry is not permitted under any circumstances. The shift-wise reporting time for MHT CET is given below.

Exam Duration for MHT CET 2026

The total duration of the MHT CET exam for each shift is 3 hours (180 minutes). No candidate will be given any additional time. As per the MHT CET exam pattern, the PCM paper will have 150 questions in total, 50 from physics, chemistry and mathematics each. The PCB exam will have 200 questions, 100 from Biology and 50 from Physics and Chemistry. The total marks for both tests is 200 marks.

Sorry, but according to me with 96.09 percentile in MHT-CET through PCB, you cannot get admission to ICT for B.Tech Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. The cuttoff competitively closes around 99.0 to 99.9 percentile.
