AP EAMCET 2020 is a state level entrance exam, which is conducted once a year, it is a highly competitive entrance exam so one must know all the tips, and tricks in order to crack it.
- Before you start, your preparation you should have a clear knowledge of AP EAMCET syllabus this will help you to plan a preparation strategy.
- Once you get to know the syllabus then make a list of important chapters (based on the weightage of marks) these chapters should be your first priority, after completing these chapters go with the other chapters.
- Make your own time table in which timings you are comfortable to study and follow this to be sure
- Improve your skills in maths it will also help you to solve numerical problems in physics and chemistry as well, practice previous papers and solve as many as possible
How to be time savvy?
- Don’t try to do every question that comes in the exam, first attempt direct questions by doing so you have time to solve difficult questions
- Leave unknown questions, doing so will save you a lot of time.
- At last attempt all the unknown questions without leaving because there is no negative mark in the exam

What should be the revision approach?
- First and foremost thing is to understand the syllabus and make your own time table and plan accordingly
- Make your study plan according to the time you can focus on it i.e. Morning or night, as your wish.
- Make a running notes (point wise) while you are preparing, this will help you in revision
How to manage Class 12 and entrance preparation?

To qualify for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, expected cutoff for the general categories is 40 marks out of 160. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST categories. They are usually expected to score around 30-35 marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.

Candidates must score atleast 25% of the total marks to qualify in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026. Since the exam is conducted for 160 marks, the qualifying score is 40 marks.
