TS EAMCET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code: The TGCHE conducted the TS EAMCET exam 2026 for Engineering courses on May 9, 10 and 11. The Agriculture & Pharmacy (AP) stream exam was held on May 4 and 5. On the exam day, students are required to follow some important exam day instructions. Although the TG EAPCET 2026 exam has no strict dress code like the national-level exam, JEE Mains, students should still follow the appropriate exam day dress code.

What to carry?
- TS EAMCET 2026 hall ticket
- Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black)
- Any ID proof issued by the Government, preferably Aadhaar.
What not to carry?
- The candidate should not bring any other material, other than the ones mentioned above. This instruction sheet should not be brought into the examination hall.
- Candidates should not bring Log books, Tables, Calculators, Pagers, Cell Phones, any electronic gadgets, etc., into the examination hall.
- Any candidate found in possession of any forbidden material will be sent out of the examination hall.
Reporting time
Follow the TG EAPCET 2026 exam timings. Candidates should arrive at the examination hall at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
Exit and entry at the exam centre
- Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall once the examination has commenced.
- Candidates must remain seated in their allotted places till the completion of the examination. In no case will they be allowed to leave the examination hall till the end of the examination.
The hall ticket should be preserved after the exam
- The TS EAMCET hall ticket issued to the candidate is an important document. Candidates are required to preserve it carefully.
- The hall ticket is not transferable. Any tampering with the hall ticket will automatically lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
Instructions to be followed for TG EAPCET 2026 Computer-Based Test
The candidate should read the instructions carefully before answering the questions in the Online examination. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions given for answering and other entries for writing the Online examination.
Test Timing & Login
- Duration: The exam lasts 180 minutes.
- System Check: A login screen should be visible on your monitor upon arrival; notify an invigilator immediately if it is not.
- Login Window: Candidates will be prompted to log in 15 minutes before the exam starts.
- Timer: A server-synced countdown timer is located in the top right corner. The exam will auto-submit once the timer reaches zero.
Navigating the Interface
- Question Palette: Use the number grid on the right to jump to specific questions. You can collapse this palette using the ">" arrow to enlarge the question view.
- Scrolling: Use the (Scroll Down) and (Scroll Up) buttons to move through long questions quickly.
- Switching Sections: Subjects are listed on the top bar. You can shuffle between sections and questions at any time during the 180 minutes.
Answering Questions
- Selecting an Answer: Click the button next to your chosen option.
- Saving Progress: You must click Save & Next to ensure your answer is recorded.
- Changing/Deleting: To change an answer, click a different option. To remove an answer entirely, click the chosen option again or use the Clear Response button.
- Mark for Review: Use Mark for Review & Next if you want to revisit a question.
Note: If you select an answer and mark it for review, that answer will be included in your final evaluation.
Post-Exam & Results
- Immediate Feedback: Your secured marks (based on the preliminary key) will be displayed on the screen immediately after the exam ends.
- Final Ranking: Official ranks are calculated later using normalised marks based on the final answer key.
Strict Prohibitions
- Data Security: Copying, noting down, or recording any questions or options is strictly forbidden. Candidates caught doing so will face severe disciplinary action.
TS EAMCET 2026 Dress Code
The dress code of the TS EAMCET exam is not strictly specified by TGCHE. However, students should be careful not to wear anything that is not appropriate for the exam day. Here are some tips:
Recommended Dress Code
- For Boys: Half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts and plain trousers or jeans.
- For Girls: Simple kurtas (half-sleeve), T-shirts, or tops with leggings or plain pants.
- Footwear: Wear open footwear like sandals or slippers. Closed shoes and high-heeled footwear are generally discouraged and may be asked to be removed before entry.

Candidates must pay INR 5,000 (SC/ST) or INR 10,000 (Others) minimum. If tuition is lower, the excess is refunded upon reporting to the college after the final counselling phases.
Mathematics is the most critical subject in TS EAMCET, making up 50% of the total marks (80 out of 160).
During the TS EAMCET exam, try to complete chemistry within 30 to 40 minutes, physics within 50 to 60 minutes, and allot the remaining time to Mathematics.
