MET 2026 Counselling

MET 2026 counselling dates will be announced soon. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the MET counselling 2026 process to be eligible for admission. While registering for the MET counselling process, the candidates will have to select their courses and campuses in order of preference. The required fee also has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. The MET 2026 seat allotment will be announced online. Candidates will be allotted as per their rank, preferences, category and seat availability. Allotted candidates will have to confirm their seats before the final date; otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.

Q: How many rounds of MET counselling will be held?

The authorities are conducting four counselling rounds. Along with the four rounds of MET counselling, a intra-institute round is also expected to be held to select candidates for allotment of seats. For every round of counselling, the candidates will be able to select/edit their choices for allotment. Separate MET seat allotment results will be announced for every round.

Q: What is the MET counselling registration process?

To participate in the MET counselling process, the candidates will have to complete the registration process before the final date. To be registered for MET counselling, the candidates will have to click on the registration link and log in using their application number and OTBS password. After checking the profile, the candidates will have to update it with the necessary information . Not much changes in the details can be made during the MET counselling registration process. Candidates will also have to select their choice of courses and campuses in the order of preference for allotment. Fresh registration and choice filling/editing will be allowed for every round of MET counselling.

The authorities have not yet announced the MET 2025 class commencement date for the qualified candidates.
