Along with the three rounds of MET counselling, a intra-institute round is also expected to be held to select candidates for allotment of seats. MET 2026 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Students should check official eligibility criteria before MET 2026 counselling registration. If they do not meet eligibility, they will not be considered for admission.

Candidate should have passed in 10+2 / A-Level / International Baccalaureate (IB)/American High School Diploma or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
Candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 50 % in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects put together. In each of these subjects, candidates should have scored at least the minimum pass marks prescribed by the board.
Candidates who have appeared for 10+2 / A Level / IB / American High School Diploma or Equivalent board examination or are awaiting their results are also eligible for the counselling, provided they fulfil the above criteria.
