NSO Exam Pattern 2025-26: Students must go through the entire NSO exam pattern 2025 and also the NSO Syllabus 2025 and make a time table. They must divide enough time for each section for effective studying. Students can also refer to the NSO Preparation to know the right approach on how to tackle the science olympiad.
For classes 1 to 4, a total of 35 questions are asked and the time duration is one hour. While for classes 5 to 12, a total of 50 questions are asked and the total time duration remains the same, that is one hour. The medium of the NSO exam is English. NSO is conducted during school hours only. The NSO Exam Dates 2025 are November 13, November 27, and December 11, 2025. NSO level 1 result 2025 will be released in January 2026. The NSO Exam Dates 2025 were released online at sofworld.org.
According to the NSO exam pattern 2025 level 1, the question paper consists of three sections:
For Class 1 to Class 10
- Section 1: Logical Reasoning
- Section 2: Science
- Section 3: Achievers Section
For Class 11 and Class 12
- Section 1: Physics/Chemistry
- Section 2: Achievers Section
- Section 3 : Mathematics/Biology
