NLU Delhi has announced the AILET exam pattern on the official NLU Delhi website. The exam pattern was provided along with the detailed AILET notification 2026. There will be no descriptive sections in the AILET question paper.

AILET LLM exam consists of 100 questions of 1 mark each. The question paper for LLM admissions consists of two parts and the sectional weightage of AILET LLM question paper will be as under:

AILET Tie-Breaking Method 2026
Following criteria will be adopted to deal with situations where two or more candidates get the same score:
- If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), their merit will be determined based on higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2026.
- If the merit is still the same, then the candidate senior in age shall get preference. If there is still no change in merit, then a computerized draw of lots shall be taken into consideration.
- If there is no merit change, authorities shall consider computerized lot draws.

Candidates are advised to follow the preparation tips for AILET 2026 exam for the best results. Candidates should prepare all sections properly, however, the logical reasoning section of AILET 2026 is most important as it carries a maximum number of questions and weightage from the overall AILET Question Paper. In order to score a good rank in AILET 2026, candidates need to focus all sections. Candidates must start the revision of the complete AILET Course now, identify their weaknesses and work on it.
