AILET PG 2025: The AILET PG 2025 registration will start on August 1, 2024 on the official AILET portal, nationallawunivetsitydelhi.in. What is AILET PG Exam?

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) PG or LLM exam is a national-level law entrance exam conducted annually by the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD). It serves as the sole gateway for admission to the university's undergraduate postgraduate programme (LLM). AILET is also conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons.) and PhD in Law courses, which are taught at NLU Delhi.

The All India Law Entrance Test AILET is conducted by National Law University Delhi (NLUD) for admission into their undergraduate B.A. LL.B. And postgraduate LL. M. law programs. Here's an overview of the syllabus and exam pattern of AILET and a few tips for preparation: Exam Pattern: - The AILET exam is conducted in an offline mode and has a duration of 120 minutes. - The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions for the undergraduate programme and 100 multiple-choice questions for the postgraduate programme. - Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking. - The AILET exam is designed to test a candidate's knowledge of law, reasoning ability, and language proficiency. - The undergraduate exam has questions based on English General Knowledge, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. A:

The marking scheme for AILET 2024 will be as under:

  • 1 mark to be allotted for each correct answer 
  • 0.25 marks to be deducted from total scores for each incorrect attempt. 
  • No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted

Q:   Is there negative marking in AILET 2025 Exam?

A:

Candidates must note that the AILET Exam 2025 has negative marking too. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark. Candidates must be very careful while attempting the questions paper of AILET 2025. Candidates are advised to solve mock tests and previous years' question papers to get hand on things. Candidates must keep track of time while practicing for AILET 2025 exam.

Q:   Is there any negative marking in AILET?

A:
Yes, for each wrong attempt 0.25 marks are deducted from the total scores. Since, one mark is allotted for each question, candidates will score 1 mark for their correct attempt, however, if their answer is incorrect, they will lose 0.25 marks from the total score. They will, however, be given 0.75 marks for wrong attempt too. The final scores obtained by the candidates will be as under: Correct attempts minus 0.25 x wrong attempts = total score out of 100 Note: In case, candidates leave question unattempted then the exam authority will neither add any marks or deduct any marks from their total scores. AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The NLU Delhi will release the AILET PG 2025 registration form on August 1, 2024. All those candidates who are interested to pursue LLM programme at NLU Delhi must fill the AILET PG Entrance Exam Form 2025. To get admission to the LLM programme through AILET PG 2025, candidates will have to meet the AILET 2025 eligibility criteria related to their course. Step 1: Online AILET 2025 Registration

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of NLU Delhi - http://www.nludelhi.ac.in  or https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/

2. Click on 'Register to Apply Now' where you need to create a signup/ login account by providing the below-mentioned information:

  • Name 
  • E-mail Address
  • Create a Password
  • Date of Birth 
  • Mobile Number

3. Click on confirm registration, and log in again to fill the application form as under:

Step 2: Select the law course 

  • The exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in law, therefore, candidates need to select the course they are applying for. 
  • For this candidates need to select the application form for – LLM.
  • Once, the candidates have selected the course in which they want to secure admission they need to click on the “Apply Now” button for the next step.

Step 3: Fill AILET 2025 application form

On successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates can fill the form to complete the application process of NLU Delhi admissions. Applicants will be required to fill the below-given information in the detailed application form of AILET 2025:

Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications below:

Step 5: Pay the application fee

In the final step towards completing the application process, candidates have to do AILET Application Form 2025 Fee Payment as mentioned below:

Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates have to select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking and proceed to pay. 

Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch and a challan will be generated. Download it and pay the fee in cash at the selected branch within 48 hours of generating the challan. Once the fee has been paid, the updated status will reflect on the applicant's account within 72 hours.

Step 6: Application 2025 Form Submission

Once the application fee has been paid and the status for it is reflected in the applicant account, candidates have to cross-check the details entered on the form and submit it online only. Also, take printouts of the submitted application form for future reference.
