The registration for the AILET 2026 PG exam has been started. Candidates will have to register before the last date for the entrance exam. The AILET 2026 for LLM program will be conducted at the designated centres. The AILET 2026 notification has been released on its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Candidates must note that the AILET Exam 2026 has negative marking too. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark. Candidates must be very careful while attempting the questions paper of AILET 2026. Candidates are advised to solve mock tests and previous years' question papers to get hand on things. Candidates must keep track of time while practicing for AILET 2026 exam.

The NLU Delhi is yet to release the exam pattern of AILET LLM 2026. However, the exam pattern was previously went modification in the year 2024, within which the duration of the exam was changed and the descriptive section in the exam for the AILET PG Exam course was removed. Candidates must check the revised exam pattern of AILET 2026 and the syllabus of AILET 2026 while doing their AILET 2026 preparation.The NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2026 Exam Pattern online on the NLU Delhi official website.

AILET 2026 exam pattern did not undergo any changes this year, yet, however, the NLU Delhi reserves the right to introduce any revisions to the exam pattern. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website to avoid any last minute surprises. AILET 2026 exam will comprise 150 MCQ based questions from three sections: English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. Earlier, the all India Law entrance test had one more section namely, Legal Aptitude which was removed from the exam syllabus in the previous session.

The AILET PG 2026 registration form are out. Interested candidates will have to fill the form and sit for the entrance exam to get admission to the LLM programme. Read further to understand the AILET PG admission process 2026:
Step 1: Online AILET 2026 Registration
1. Candidates need to visit the official website of NLU Delhi - http://www.nludelhi.ac.in or https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/
2. Click on 'Register to Apply Now' where you need to create a signup/ login account by providing the below-mentioned information:
- Name
- E-mail Address
- Create a Password
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- Contact Address

3. Click on confirm registration, and log in again to fill the application form as under:
Step 2: Select the Law course
- The exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in law, therefore, candidates need to select the course they are applying for.
- For this candidates need to select the application form for – LLM.
- Once, the candidates have selected the course in which they want to secure admission they need to click on the “Apply Now” button for the next step.
Step 3: Fill AILET 2026 application form
On successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates can fill the form to complete the application process of NLU Delhi admissions. Applicants will be required to fill the below-given information in the detailed application form of AILET 2026:

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee
In the final step towards completing the application process, candidates have to do AILET Application Form 2026 Fee Payment as mentioned below:
Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates have to select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking and proceed to pay.
Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch and a challan will be generated.
Step 6: Application 2026 Form Submission
Once the application fee has been paid and the status for it is reflected in the applicant account, candidates have to cross-check the details entered on the form and submit it online only. Also, take printouts of the submitted application form for future reference.
