AILET Tie-Breaking Method 2026
Following criteria will be adopted to deal with situations where two or more candidates get the same score:
- If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), their merit will be determined based on higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2026.
- If the merit is still the same, then the candidate senior in age shall get preference. If there is still no change in merit, then a computerized draw of lots shall be taken into consideration.
- If there is no merit change, authorities shall consider computerized lot draws.

Candidates are advised to follow the preparation tips for AILET 2026 exam for the best results. Candidates should prepare all sections properly, however, the logical reasoning section of AILET 2026 is most important as it carries a maximum number of questions and weightage from the overall AILET Question Paper.
