Q. Did you expect to clear AIBE Exam?
A. Since I was a recent law graduate, I believe in what I studied in the 5 years of my graduation, so I was confident enough that I could pass the AIBE Exam, as we just need to qualify the bare minimum passing percentage, and it’s a must to work as an advocate in the long run, so one needs to work hard.
Q. Which law subject did you feel was more challenging? And took more time for preparation?
A. Talking about which specific subject was challenging, I would say CRPC (the Code of Criminal Procedure) and CPC (the Code of Civil Procedure), as those two are procedural laws, and one needs to have a basic understanding of them to go forward and understand the question in itself, as well as the case study-based questions.
Q. How did you manage time between the full-time job and AIBE Preparation?
A. Well, working as an intern in itself is not that much of a task, plus I was exploring the operations field, which is on a different tangent than legal studies, and at the time of the exam, I had recently joined the organization, so it wasn’t much of a hassle. Additionally, if you have survived a law firm environment, you can survive anything.

Q. Do you feel coaching plays a very important part in clearing AIBE Exam?
A. If your basics are clear, then you just need to brush up on the major contents and laws, which are of greater weightage in the exam, and you are good to go. But if it has been a while since you last took a look at the books, then coaching will play an important role, for sure.
Q. What was your study plan for AIBE?
A. For me, it was more of a paper-oriented approach as I knew that the AIBE Question Paper would consist of MCQ’s only. I gave all the laws a thorough look and then tried solving some mock tests whenever needed, plus it was an open book exam, so I had that in mind that it wouldn't be a problem because of that.
Q. How did you manage your strengths and weaknesses while preparing for the AIBE Exam?
A. Since I knew that substantive laws are my strengths, I kept them aside most of the time and worked on the procedural part because they comprise a major component of the paper, and every year, almost 50 percent of the questions are from them only.

Q. Was Law always your choice as a career?
A. Well, yes, becoming a lawyer and choosing law as a career was my choice from the very beginning, and I had a tendency towards the judicial services as well, so it was a good thing for me to go forward with.
Q. Any tips for students who are planning to appear in AIBE 19 Exam?
A. Firstly, those appearing in the AIBE Exam shouldn’t be stressed about the same, because if they have done satisfactorily in their college time they will be able to pass the exam easily as only bare minimum is required to clear the same but one shouldn’t take it too lightly, because there is a reason many people have failed this year maybe they had taken it for granted. Secondly, you should be carrying the Bare Acts with you, and you must know how to quickly read the Bare Acts and be on the section or the page you are required to be on to solve the particular question and one shouldn’t worry about the time given, cause trust me it's already too much.
