NLU Delhi declared the results for AILET 2023 on December 19, 2022. 

In the BA LLB program, Abhinav Somain (AIR 1) topped the exam by securing 92 marks (out of a possible 150 marks). The AIR 2 position was secured by Shubham Thakare who score 91.25 marks.

The All-India merit list for the BA LLB program includes the ranks and marks of 15, 454 candidates who appeared in the national-level design entrance exam.

A total of 12 candidates managed to score more than 80 marks in the AILET 2023 exam for the BA LLB program. This means the AILET 2023 cut-off would stay below 80 marks this admission season.

For the BA LLB program, the following candidates have been shortlisted for counseling.

  • General category - 143 candidates have been invited to fill 47 seats.
  • General-PwD - 9 candidates to fill 3 seats.
  • OBC-NCL - 75 candidates to fill 23 seats.
  • OBC-NCL-PwD - 3 candidates to fill 1 seat.
  • SC - 48 candidates to fill 16 seats.
  • SC-PwD - 3 candidates to fill 1 seat.
  • ST - 24 candidates to fill 8 seats.
  • EWS - 31 candidates to fill 10 seats.
  • EWS-PwD - 3 candidates to fill 1 seat.

The online registration for AILET 2023 counseling is open from December 20-26, 2022.

The AILET 2023 exam was conducted in pen-and-paper mode on December 11, 2022 (11 am -12.30 pm).

AILET 2023 counseling 

NLU Delhi has released counseling invite lists for the BA LLB and LLM programs. Candidates included in the list need to get registered for counseling and upload mandatory documents.

The 1st round of seat allotment for AILET 2023 will be announced on December 30, 2022.

The allotment of seats will be based on the AILET 2023 merit rank of the candidate, the category under which admission is sought, and the intake capacity.

The official AILET 2026 AIR 1 score has not been released yet. It will be announced after the exam results are declared by NLU Delhi. Usually, the top ranker's score stays between 95 to 100 marks depending on paper difficulty. Keep checking the official AILET 2026 result page for confirmed updates.

You can apply for AILET 2026 if you passed or appearing in Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, PwD). There's no age limit for the exam. For postgraduate courses, you must hold an LL.B. degree with minimum required marks. Always confirm details on the official AILET 2026 notification.

Many students feel the AILET exam is bit tougher than CLAT because it has fewer seats and high competition. The AILET syllabus focus more on reasoning and legal aptitude. Both tests need good preparation, but AILET 2026 usually has higher cutoff for AILET colleges under NLU Delhi.
