CLAT 2024 Students Reaction and Paper Analysis
As per Shivam, there were a few passages in the General Knowledge part that were changed. Some questions with a static orientation were included, along with a few unexpected topics. Even though this segment had at least one straightforward passage, it was still moderately difficult overall.
As per the Dev and Garv who appeared in CLAT UG, the cutoff will be very high. Thus, it will be difficult for candidates to secure seats in the top NLUs.
As per the opinion of Somvati Das, the exam (CLAT UG) was not very difficult (moderate). The questions based on Criminal Law and family law were very easy. In addition to these topics, most questions were based on legal topics, such as Contract Law and Tax Law. Answering these questions can help candidates score well in the exam. Moreover, the entire pattern has been changed. As a result, it will be difficult for candidates to score high in the exam. The significant difference in the exam pattern was seen in the context of the types of questions asked in the GK section of the exam. The GK questions were based on philosophy. Earlier, there were no or a few GK questions on the CLAT question paper.
Tina, a CLAT UG candidate, said the exam was quite easy. The English section was the easiest section in the CLAT UG question paper 2024. On the other hand, Logical Reasoning was the toughest section. Maximum questions were asked from the Legal Reasoning-related topics.
Another test taker said that, with many conceptual problems, the logical section was moderately long. The English exam was similarly long but not too hard, with a lot of vocabulary problems. Arithmetic was challenging. There were some unexpected themes, and general awareness was only mediocre. By moderate, legal was a little bit long. It was, all in all, fairly long.
Ankita found the exam easy. He expects the CLAT cut off to go up to 97 for top NLUs. For him logical reasoning was the toughest section while other sections were relatively easy.

The last date to submit the application form is October 31, 2025. It must be noted that the consortium will open the application correction window after that. Sometimes the consortium do extend the last date for registration but it is better to fill the form way before and why to wait.
