The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT Exam 2027 on December 6, 2026, tentatively. Candidates looking forward to appearing in the CLAT Exam must check the syllabus before beginning the preparation. The CLAT Current Affairs and General Knowledge section is considered one of the most scoring yet challenging sections. Candidates must make a good preparation plan to qualify the exam. 

 Unlike traditional GK sections that focus on factual memorisation, CLAT tests a candidate's ability to read, comprehend, and analyse contemporary issues and events. There is no sectional time limit for the CLAT exam 2027; therefore, candidates can prepare for Current Affairs, including the GK section, in such a manner that they attempt it as quickly as possible.

The CLAT Syllabus is published by the Consortium. The syllabus has been announced. Candidates who are preparing for the exam must note that there are no changes made in the syllabus so far.  Candidates can check the syllabus by visiting the official website. You can only download the PDF from website.

Q:   Can I complete CLAT Syllabus in a month?
A: 

While it is not impossible, it is a really challenging task. To score well, you must start preparing for CLAT at least six months before. It is very important to score well if you are looking forward to getting into good NLU. For top 10 NLU, you at least need to score between 100 to 105 as per past trends.

Why CLAT Current Affairs Important?

The Current Affairs section in the CLAT tests the candidate's ability to connect real-world events to a broader context. The passages are taken from newspapers, magazines, etc. After reading the passage, candidates will have to answer 4-6 questions. Based on the answers, you will be marked.

Yes, candidates can admission in BA LLB in Amity University, Raipur without CLAT if they fulfill eligibility criteria. Admission is given based on Class 12 merit. No entrance test is needed.

No, SAGE University, Indore does not accept scores of CLAT-UG for BBA LLB (hons) admissions. All candidates who fulfill SAGE University, Indore BBA LLB (hons) eligibility criteria must appear in SEE in order to qualify for admissions.

Yes, candidates can apply for BA LLB (hons) admissions at SAGE University, Indore without appearing in CLAT-UG. The aforementioned entrance exam is not accepted for BA LLB (hons) at SAGE University, Indore. Instead, selection of candidates is based on merit in Class 12th.

This requirement is for the University of Lucknow BBA LLB course. So yes, admission will be easier if you have a great CLAT 2026 score. General category applicants who score 50% or above can skip the university's local test entirely. For reserved students, this direct entry limit is set at 45% marks

University of Lucknow BA LLB seats can also be won by taking the college's own entry exam. The university organizes its own Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) to fill up all remaining law seats. They prepare a clear merit list based strictly on your local exam marks.

Yes, you can join Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham without CLAT. If you have a valid AILET score, you can submit it for BA LLB admission. Otherwise, you can appear for Amrita Law Admission Test (AmLAT).

No, CLAT is not compulsory to get admission in BA LLB at BHU. BHU uses the CUET-UG (Common University Entrance Test) scores conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for shortlisting students.
