Administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs), CLAT serves as the gateway to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at various NLUs and other affiliated institutions. CLAT 2026: Fee Structure for CLAT UG/PG

The CLAT Fees for CLAT UG and CLAT PG courses are same. But it differs as per the applicant’s category, such as General, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD.

CLAT 2026 General Category Fees

For candidates belonging to the General category, the registration fee is relatively higher compared to the reserved categories. 

CLAT 2026 OBC Category Fees

Candidates from the OBC category will have to pay a little bit less fee as compared to the general category. 

CLAT 2026 SC/ST Category Fees

For candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), the registration fees is comparatively too low. This is to ensure no candidate is left behind from appearing in CLAT Exam.

CLAT 2026 PwD Category Fees

The Consortium ensures that Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are also benefitted from the reduced registration fees.

CLAT 2026 Application Fee: Mode of Payment

CLAT 2026 registration fees can be paid through various online modes, including credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI. This flexibility allows candidates to choose a payment method that is most convenient for them.

To make the CLAT 2026 application fee payment through credit card or debit card candidates need to have credit/ debit card. For payment of the CLAT registration fee through UPI, candidates must have a registered UPI number. Another option to do the CLAT Application Fee Payment 2026 is through net banking.

You don't have to worry. In case you have forgotten your ID and password, which is pretty much normal. You can go and click on the forgot password tab in the registration window. You will receive the mail and then you have to reset your password. Once day you will be able to login.

Yes, the application form for CLAT was released long back in August. Those who have not filled the form yet must understand that there is no right day to fill the form. You should fill is as soon as possible. Because if you miss it you have to wait one more year unnecessarily to appear in the exam.

The last date to submit the application form is October 31, 2025. It must be noted that the consortium will open the application correction window after that. Sometimes the consortium do extend the last date for registration but it is better to fill the form way before and why to wait.

You can fill out CLAT form by following the simple steps given below:

  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the apply online link. 
  • Click on the login box.
  • Go to the application form tab at the top.
  • Enter your personal, qualification and preferences for NLU.
