Current Affairs including GK Section Events of National and International Importance, Awards & Honours, Eminent Personalities, Sports
Quantitative Techniques Ratios and Proportions, Statistics, Mensuration

Logical Reasoning Relationships, Analogies, Logical Sequences, Statement & Assumption, Syllogism

CLAT 2025 Mock Test Practice

Apart from doing a quick revision of important topics, you can also practice a CLAT question paper from the previous year to analyse your performance. After attempting the paper, you can do a quick brush-up of topics, in which you score less.

Q:   What are important preparation strategies for CLAT 2026?
A:

Candidates could check important preparation strategies of CLAT 2026 below

  • Prepare a monthly and weekly timetable and have the syllabus handy
  • Make sure to cover all the topics and concepts right on time and revise them at frequent intervals
  • Write mock tests and practice tests frequently and analyze the tests taken to recognize the weak areas, and work towards improving them
  • Do not make assumptions while attempting the questions in actual CLAT as for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted

Avoid any new topics

While revision and practice are important, do not pick any new topic for study during this last hour. With the remaining time left, strengthen what you already know and leave the rest. Picking a new topic at this stage can lead to confusion between different concepts. Also, it will cut into your time for revising and practicing CLAT questions.

Keep marking scheme in mind

You should keep in mind that there is a negative marking in CLAT. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from your total score. Therefore, do not make wild guesses in the paper. Only attempt questions about which you have some idea.

Strategise time

You should focus on time management for the upcoming CLAT examination. There will be 150 passage-based questions that you have to attempt in two hours. Although there is no sectional time limit, you should strategise time for each CLAT section depending on your strengths for the subjects. During the exam, you should not spend too much time on a question. Ideally, you should spend less than a minute on each question. In case, you are not able to solve it in that time, skip and move to the next question.

Check CLAT exam day instructions

The CLAT Consortium has released detailed CLAT exam day guidelines 2025 this year. You must go through all the guidelines released by the Consortium to avoid any hassle on the day of the exam. The guidelines give clarity on the list of important documents to carry, code of conduct inside the exam hall, safety measure at the centre and so on. Check a list of few important documents and things that mandatorily need to be carried to the test centre below:

  • CLAT admit card
  • Photo ID proof such as Voters’ ID Card, Passport, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License
  • Self-health declaration form
  • Disability certificate, if applicable
  • Attested photo, if the photograph printed on the admit card is not clear
  • Blue/black ball-point pen
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Face masks, gloves, sanitiser
  • Analogue watch

Sleep and eat well

Last but not least, to perform well in the exam, you mustn't take much stress and keep yourself calm. Eat well and have a sound sleep the night before the exam so that in the morning you are completely fresh and ready to sit for CLAT.
