What is KLEE?
Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is an entrance exam held for admission to government law colleges and government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges. Candidates who pass the exam can participate in the KLEE centralised allotment process (CAP) for the allotment of seats in the law colleges. There are 4 law colleges and around 20 private self-financing law colleges in Kerala that participate in CAP.
In the KLEE exam, 200 MCQ-type questions are asked. The total marks on the paper are 600, and the exam duration is two hours. Separate exams are held for 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM courses.

KLEE 2026 counselling for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM courses is being conducted online. The counselling process is a single-window seat allotment process. Seats in all the law colleges are allotted via this centralised allotment process - CAP. In online counselling, candidates have to first register their options within the given deadline, then check the allotment result, and report to the college allotted for admission fee payments and document verification.
The entire counselling process of KLEE 2026 is done through official portal. However, verification of documents and fee payment is done by reporting at the allotted colleges.
How to Check the KLEE Seat Allotment Result 2026?
KLEE Seat Allotment for all courses will be published on the website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can check in the following manner.
- Candidates can access their homepage by entering their application number and password in the ‘Candidate Portal’ provided on the website.
- Then, by clicking the menu item ‘Allotment Result’, candidates can download their allotment memo and data sheet.
- Take a printout of the allotment memo for the further admission process.
KLEE Answer Key 2026
CEE Kerala released KLEE answer key for both 3 Year and 5 Year LLB courses. The answer key has the questions asked in the exam and the correct answers to them. The answer key and question paper of KLEE were released on the official portal. Using the answer key, candidates were able to cross-check their responses. They could know the number of correct and incorrect attempts. Using the marking scheme of the exam, they could find out their probable score in the exam out of 600. The KLEE 2026 answer key and questions were made available in the form of a PDF file. Candidates can visit the website and download them.
KLEE Result 2026
The KLEE 2026 result for 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM courses has been announced at cee.kerala.gov.in. The scorecard for an individual candidate contains details such as the candidate's name, roll number, obtained marks and rank.
How to Download KLEE 2026 Scorecard?
The results for KLEE for all courses have been announced online only. Candidates can use the following steps to download the KLEE 2026 scorecard-
- Go to the CEE Kerala website - cee.kerala.gov.in.
- Click on the portal link for your respective law programme 3-year LLB/5-year LLB/LLM.
- Click on the scorecard link.
- Now, enter your KLEE hall ticket number and rank.
- Submit these details and your scorecard will open in a separate tab.
You need to download the scorecard and save it as a PDF for future reference.
After the release of the result, a merit list or rank list has been uploaded as a PDF file on the official website. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list can participate in CAP. The scorecard is issued to all candidates to take the exam. The KLEE 2026 rank list will include candidates' roll numbers, scores, and KLEE 2026 rank/qualifying status. While the KLEE scorecard has the marks achieved by the candidates in KLEE 2026.

The KLEE exam centre is allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other details. Apart from the name and address of the allotted KLEE test centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines, etc.
The KLEE or Kerala Law Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to the 5-year integrated B.A. LLB, B.Com LLB, and BBA LLB courses. Also, candidates can take admission to 3-year LLB and LLM courses through KLEE 2027.
The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

The KLEE LLM 2026 admit card was released online a few days before the exam. The admit card for the LLM programme entrance exam has also been issued through the online portal/ KLEE Official website. The candidates had to mandatorily carry the KLEE LLM admit card to the examination hall to avoid rejection at the entrance to the examination hall.
There are a total of 360 5 year LLB seats in Kerala Government College. These seats are available in four government law colleges through KLEE.
There are 4 government colleges for 3 Year LLB admission via KLEE. A total of 420 seats are available in them.
CEE Kerala has released a separate category–wise list in KLEE 2026 for Community reservation, Special reservation, Persons with Disabilities, and EWS reservation. Candidates are advised to verify the various merit/category lists published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and satisfy themselves regarding their position in the list, such as inclusion under different categories, eligibility for communal/special reservation, etc.

One can reach the respective portals directly through Three Year LL.B 2026 or Integrated Five Year LL.B 2026, available on the site of the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
KLEE question paper consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM programmes. Students have to select the correct answers among the multiple choices. They can skip questions if they do not know their answers. It is advised to attempt all questions because no negative marking is done. The option of marking for review is also available for questions in the KLEE question paper. Candidates can answer these questions later before clicking on the submit or end exam button.
