RULET Eligibility Criteria 2026: Academic Qualification, Age Limit, Number of Attempts

The Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test 2026 (RULET) will be conducted for admission to the BA LLB course offered by the University of Rajasthan (UniRaj). Candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB programme offered by colleges affiliated with UniRaj will need to check eligibility criteria provided here in this article.

The University of Rajasthan will conduct the RULET 2026 exam tentatively in June 2026. The exam will be conducted for admission to the BA LLB courses offered by the University of Rajasthan (UniRaj). Only individuals who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to fill out and submit the application form. RULET 2026 Reservation Policy

The following reservation policy will be used for filling BA LLB seats in various categories.

5% seat will be reserved for persons with disabilities in all categories.

RULET 2026 Eligibility- Age Limit 

There is no upper age limit to apply for the exam. Candidates are only required to pass their Class 10+2 to appear in the entrance exam. However, it is important for them to secure the percentage in their qualifying exam mentioned above as per the eligibility criteria. 

If there is a gap of 1 or 2 years between the Class 11 passing year and the Class 12 passing year of a candidate, he or she is also eligible to apply for this exam. He or she may have to provide a valid document mentioning the reason for the gap during the RULET 2026 counselling. Moreover, candidates who could not complete their Class 11 or Class 12 in the first attempt can also fill out the application form. They may have to fulfil the same document requirement during the counselling. 

RULET 2026 Number of Attempts

There is no maximum number of attempts to appear in the exam. If they do not clear the entrance exam on their first attempt, they can reappear for it next year. But candidates need to know that they can fill out the application form for a particular year only once.

RULET 2026 - Concession Policy for candidates with various qualifications

In case of candidates with the following qualifications, the concession will be provided to candidates at the time of admission to the BA LLB program.

• NCC Certificate
• If the candidate has a Sports Background (application must be furnished with supporting documents)

RULET 2026 application form

The application form will open in online mode and may be filled out by eligible candidates. The step-wise process to fill out the application form for RULET 2026 is given below.

• Fill in the application form which will have academic, personal, and contact detail sections.
• Upload documents
• Pay the application fee; only online payment options are available.
• After duly completing the application form, submit it.

Note that RULET 2026 admit cards will only be issued to students who complete the application process.

RULET Application Process 2026

The registration for this exam is likely to begin in May 2026. The process will be online. To fill out the application form, candidates can use the following steps,

• Go to the UniRaj website, uniraj.ac.in. 
• Click on "RULET 2026" tab. 
• You will be redirected to the candidate's portal
• Enter your basic details, including your name, parents' names, qualification details, address and email address and phone number. 
• Fill out the course and reservation/category-related details (if applicable). 
• Review all the entered details.
• Pay the application fee using debit card/ credit card / UPI. 
• Save and submit the form.

To apply for this exam, you need the following documents,

• Qualifying exam marksheets for verification
• Date of Birth Certificate as a proof of your age
• Caste/Category Certificate
• Domicile Certificate as a proof of Rajasthan citizenship

• Scanned copy of your signature in the prescribed format and size.
