The candidates who clear the TS LAWCET exam are called for counselling. Eligible candidates must fill the TS LAWCET Counselling registration form, followed by the web option. The OBC category students must score atleast 35% marks in TS LAWCET exam (i.e. 42 marks out of 120 marks), and for the SC/ST category, there is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates. However, for the 3-year LL.B. course, any graduate degree candidate with (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognised University or its equivalent can apply and for the 5-year LL.B. course, two year Intermediate Examination with (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent is acceptable.

It is a state-level entrance exam organized by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into 3-year and 5-year LLB courses offered by law colleges in Telangana.
