APICET 2026 Exam Highlights
Before appearing for the APICET 2026 exam, candidates must know the important highlights related to the entrance examination as mentioned below:
- The exam will be held in a Computer-based mode
- AP ICET exam centres are across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
- The exam will be conducted in two slots in a single-day window
- APICET exam will be conducted for 150 minutes
- The question paper will be divided into three sections
- The medium of the question paper will be in English & Telugu. The Section-B (Communication Ability) of AP ICET exam will be in English medium only.
- There will be no sectional limit. Candidates will be able to attempt any section at their convenience.

- Eatable items (chips, biscuits, chocolates, etc).
APICET Exam Day Guidelines: Do’s
- AP ICET 2026 hall ticket must be shown at the entrance of the exam centre, failing which candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre
- Candidates must reach the allotted APICET exam centre one hour prior to the given time of examination. Test takers must check the reaching time before leaving for the exam centre and plan accordingly.
- Candidates must cooperate with the examination staff during the identification process.
- Test takers must not forget to carry the APICET admit card, other important documents, without which entry will not be allowed.
- Candidates must check the room/hall number allotted against the examination roll number. Sitting on any other seat will lead to loss of time and energy.
- Test takers must carefully listen to the instructions given by the invigilator
- Candidates can attempt questions from any section as a priority. There will be no sectional time limit. Hence, candidates must attempt the questions wisely within the given time.
- Candidates will be given the rough sheet at the exam centre.
APICET Exam Day Guidelines: Don’ts
- Test takers must not carry any of the barred items to avoid cancellation of the exam.
- Do not carry a digital copy of the admit card. Candidates must carry a physical copy of the APICET hall ticket.
- Candidates must not move from their seats upon completion of the exam until the invigilator advises them to.
- In case of tricky questions, do not panic.
- Don’t stick over solving a question, move to the next question to save time.
- Submit the answer key and rough sheet after completion of the exam.

APICET Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall from 7.30 AM to 9 AM for the morning slot and from 1.30 PM to 3 PM for the forenoon slot.
- Candidates will not be allowed to enter once the examination commences and will not be allowed to leave the exam centre until the end of the examination.
- Students must listen to the instructions carefully. Once the test begins, candidates must understand the symbols to answer carefully. No clarification or doubts related to the question of the examination paper will be entertained.
- In case of any hardware or software issues, candidates must raise their hands to talk to the invigilator. The problem will be rectified within a reasonable time.
- The check-in procedure inside the AP ICET exam centre includes capturing of biometric information (your photo and left-hand thumb impression). This is a security feature which will allow AP ICET 2026 authorities to verify the candidate's identity and also avoid impersonation. Therefore, students are advised not to apply any external materials like Mehanadi, Ink etc. on their Hands/Feet.
- Adoption of any unfair practices will lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
- No travelling expenses will be paid for the journey to take the AP ICET 2026 exam.
- AP ICET 2026 hall ticket must be preserved till the time of admission in the college.
