CMAT 2020 exam was conducted today at 245 exam centres in 104 cities across India. The CMAT question paper was of moderate difficulty and there were no surprise questions. However the students found General Knowledge (GK) section tricky. Shiksha team visited an exam centre for students' review of the CMAT 2020 exam. Here's what they said.
Aishwarya Mathur said, “It was a moderate paper. GK was little tough, English was easy, Maths and Reasoning were also easy to moderate. In terms of section-wise difficulty level, Maths was difficult and even GK was not easy, Compared to the GK section of IIFT exam, this was more difficult.”

Amritanshu said, “I didn’t find any section difficult but Quant was a bit tricky. I attempted all the questions in Logical Reasoning and for me the main scoring section was GK. I attempted all the questions in Quant and Reasoning, but GK was a bit tricky.”
Shimona Chowdhary said, “CMAT exam was quite easy, the Logical Reasoning section was easy and English section was also good, so overall the paper was good so I just hope I get good percentile."
Nikita who prepared for the exam without coaching said, “CMAT 2020 was quite easy but GK section was tough.”

To get a seat in the FLAME University of the MBA/PGDM course, you have to appear for any one of the accepted exams, like CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. After clearing the exam, you have to get shortlisted for further admission round, which involves PI or GD.

Three months may not be enough for CMAT preparation, if you're doing it from scratch. However, if you are preparing for CAT, XAT, NMAT, you can prepare for CMAT in 3 months as you have clear understanding of the syllabus already and you will need exam specific practice only.

No, candidates are not required to appear in CMAT to be eligible for BTech in CSE + MBA integated course at UIT, Karnavati University. For this course, candidates are required to appear in either JEE Mains or GUJCET to qualify for admissions.
