What is Quantitative Analysis?

Quantitative Analysis, also known as Quantitative Aptitude, is an integral section of any MBA entrance exam. This section compiles questions from Mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Mensuration. Questions in Quantitative Analysis sections are typically based on topics taught in Class 9 and 10. However, candidates who continued to study Maths after Class 10 are likely to have a better chance of answering the questions correctly.

Q:   What is the desired study plan for Karnataka PGCET exam?
A:

Candidates must have a plan for Karnatak PGCET preparation based on their schedule. Hus there is no one shoe that will fit all. However, When you have limited time in hand for Karnataka PGCET exam preparation, each day counts. To utilise each day in the right way, create an hourly plan. Pick up the hard topics or in other words, topics in which you lack confidence in the first week. Divide the topics into two halves. In the first half, devote your attention to completing a hard topic and in the second half to cover an easier topic. By doing this, the stress level will be balanced.

Make a plan that you do not have to regret following or demand a cheat day after following it for certain days. Do not consult your friends while preparing your study plan. One of the key ways to meet accuracy and speed at the same time is by using shortcuts. Mathematics has several tricks and hacks to reach the solution in a few seconds. There are several tricks for roots, multiplication, division, percentage, ratio, etc. Once the candidates have mastered the basics, they can go for shortcuts to solve the questions fast with complete accuracy.

Revise Formulas

Primary difficulty while preparing for the Quantitative Analysis section lies in remembering the formulas. Candidates who have a good hold on the formulas will have a better chance of solving the questions easily. Knowing the formula is the first step toward solving the problems. Test takers will not be able to solve the easiest problem without knowing the formula.

Prepare Quantitative Analysis Keeping the Schedule intact

Candidates preparing for the Quant section must keep hold of the time. Preparation for the topics under Quantitative Analysis will be never enough as one can practice as many questions as possible.
