  • Work on the weak areas: Candidates preparing for KMAT 2025 exam must have identified their weak areas by now. Devote enough time to work on the weaker areas. One should make a list of the questions that one finds difficult and try solving them. Give some extra time to these questions apart from the daily routine. Reach out to peers and guides who can help you in solving the questions. One can also join online study groups. Watch videos on Youtube and other social media platforms related to the topics and subtopics of the KMAT question paper to understand the concepts, formulae, etc.
  • Improve speed and accuracy: Speed and accuracy are the key players in KMAT 2025 exam. Candidates have to solve 120 multiple choice questions in 120 minutes. Although the KMAT exam does not have negative markings, candidates need not worry about which questions to answer and which ones to skip, but, solving the questions with speed and accuracy is important. One can make the best use of the last month of KMAT preparation by solving and attempting an ample number of mock tests. Solve a question twice or thrice to improve speed and accuracy. Solving the question with 100% accuracy is as important as solving the question quickly.
  • Capitalise strengths: As stated above, it is important to work on the weaker areas. Having said that, it is equally important to capitalise on the stronger ones. Keep practicing the important topics consistently. Try finding shortcuts and tricks to solve questions in less time with accuracy. This will give the student more time for solving difficult questions.
  • Solve mock tests: Candidates must solve an ample number of mock tests every alternate day. After every attempt, analyse the performance and focus on improvement. Attempt a variety of mock tests so that you are prepared for surprise questions.
  • Revision is the key: It is not possible to revise the complete KMAT syllabus in one month. Hence, candidates must opt for smart revision. Try to take out one hour daily from the set schedule and go through the important topics, concepts and formulae. Whilst revising, prepare short notes of important points. These notes will help in a more focused revision strategy in the last week.
  • Target desired KMAT score: It is important to set a goal. Admission through KMAT is done through counselling. Hence, one must check the admission guidelines, eligibility criteria, etc. To get into the desired college, candidates must focus on scoring more than the previous year's KMAT cutoff of their preferred college.

There is no centralized KMAT counselling process. Students who match the cutoff after the KMAT result announcement will be called  by the participating institutes to take part in the counselling rounds. Students can choose their KMAT institute while filling the KMAT application form.
