According to the analysis of TANCET 2019, the exam was moderately difficult when compared to the 2018 exam, says Akila.
Anna University conducts Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) all for candidates to secure a seat in one of the management colleges in the state. In 2020, TANCET will be conducted on February 29-March 1. For aspirants appearing for the exam, here is TANCET 2019 exam analysis to understand what kind of questions and topics are likely to be asked this year. In 2019, the two-hour TANCET exam was conducted on June 23 in pen-paper mode.

According to the analysis of TANCET 2019, the exam was moderately difficult when compared to the 2018 exam. Apart from English grammar usage section, which seemed quite easy to attempt, quantitative ability, analysis of business situation sections was difficult. Questions from topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability was asked in the quantitative ability section. The overall analysis of TANCET exam is given below:

For the General AI category, the cutoffs in 2025, 2024 and 2023 were 1426, 1665, and 1328, respectively. This range tells us that the competition for this cate

The HICAS MBA Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MBA programme via the TANCET entrance exam. For the General AI category, the qualifying percentile was 5211. Please note that the cutoff for the other categories will vary accordingly.
