TSICET 2018 counselling will be conducted online. The counselling process includes, invitation to the candidates and allotment of seats according to their ranks. In the online process, candidate can select a college and course which he/she intends to study. In case any candidate doesn’t have internet connectivity at home, they can go to helpline centres established by Government in each district of the state.
TSICET 2018 counselling is likely to be held in July 2018. Once the counselling schedule is announced in prominent newspapers and on the official website, the candidates will have to attend for registration, verification of certificates and schedule for exercising. Candidates who fail to report for registration and certificates verification will not be considered for allotment of seats in any of the colleges.

Documents to produce at the time of TSICET 2018 counselling (original and photocopy):
- Admit card
- Rank card
- Class 10 certificate
- Class 12 certificate
- Graduation certificate
- Study/Bonafide certificate from class 9 to Graduation
- Caste certificate of SC/ST/OBC (if applicable)
- Income certificate issued by MRO issued after Jaunuary 1, 2017 (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)
- PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games certificates (if applicable)
- Transfer certificate
Candidates will be issued a receipt of certificates at helpline centres after verification.
After certificate verification at help-line centres, a Blank Option Form (specimen), list of colleges with the courses offered by them and course codes will be given to all the candidates. The candidates will be required to list out colleges and course in order of preference. They can list as many colleges and course as they want to. Previous year’s rank and selection list will be available on the website for their reference. After the finalising the options, the candidates are advised to take a print out of the final option form for the record. Help-line centres shall demonstrate the detailed procedure of exercising options immediately after the certificate verification.
Candidate can change his/her options any number of times during the allotted time.
Final allotments of the seats will be done as per merit rank and category (SC/ST/BC/PH/NCC/CAP/sports and games quota etc). The final list will be displayed on TSICET 2018 website on the scheduled date and the candidates will be required to download the allotment order.
The candidates are then required to visit the college they have been allotted seat in with the allotment order and admission fee receipt (or first installment as prescribed by the college) for admission. The fee amount is to be remitted in one of the designated banks. If the candidate fails to report for admission at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, the allotment will be cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.

TGCHE does not use a typical password system. To download the admit card, you only need your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number. Retrieve your registration number from your application printout or email.
